Sorry for the ignorance but HDTV, I've seen lots of different things that say Hd compliant, HD ready or HD compatible. Are these all the same things or do you get different types of HD? I went to Dixons before and saw an HDTV and it was amazing so can I expect that from this projector?

I've also seen HD upscaling which I assume to mean not HD but makes it compatible with?

I'm not sure if it is HD as it's resolution is 800 x 600, maybe it downscales HD inputs??

don't forget, replacement lamps are about £140 plus vat and carriage....

I've had my projector for about 4 years now and haven't had to replace the bulb yet so as long as you don't have it on all day you should be alright for a while!

I had a look around Misco earlier and there are a number around this price bracket.. I'm holding off for the moment and seeing what happens in the near future - I don't want to rush into buying one just ahead of something else appearing for lower

It's the inherent nature of the electronics business for something to appear for a lower price as soon as you buy it : in Northern Ireland, we usually attribute it to one of the following laws:
