Unfortunately Hitachi don't make cameras but sell their name to put on cheap cameras. Having said that this has some potentially useful specs such as optical image stabilization, 5x optical zoom lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Having said that though there are cameras from reputable camera makers like Panasonic, Fuji and Canon at a similar or even lesser price so I don't this is a good option at this price.
A bit of research suggests that these are made by Benq or by the same company who makes cameras for Benq - very similar to some Benq models. These "higher end" Benq cameras tend to use Sony sensors and some use a Pentax lens. This doesn't mean there's anything to recommend here though.
i got this for £99.99 from argos 2 weeks ago its a good camera
