Would not buy from dixons if you paid me. I paid £400 for a TV 9 months ago and when it recently developed a fault they took it away leaving me without a TV for 28 days. They are now saying they have lost it and can't give a replacement til it has been to head office, which could take another 3 weeks. The customer service has been the worst I have ever seen!

Have you ever hooked this up to a PC? Or if you have time, could you? I'm just wondering what the quality of text etc would be like...

can this be wall mounted??

Not according to a Reevo review. Also bad reviews generally - poor sound and channel tuning being lost overnight. Looks best avoided...

You're right they can't be wall mounted using normal brackets, these had lots of software problems so were recalled, that's where I imagine these refurbs are from.

No, got 2 last time and they were pretty good, the boxes and contents all looked new to me so probably recalled from stores to fix the tuning issues, picture and sound was ok and the unit and stand look good quality and certainly not cheap.

Remember it was £79.99 and certainly a bargain last time

Been using one of these bought from the Curry's posting several weeks back.
It does not lose channels overnight, even if unplugged.
It's speakers are reasonable for a TV.
It comes with a neat swivel/tilt stand.
I swear mine was NEW.
Do a search on here, someone did report on use as a monitor.
It has more connection options than you can shake a stick at.
I would highly recommend this.

Tried to get the daughters laptop to work with it but in the end gave up.

Just to say have now had this about 6 weeks and it was like new when delivered and does NOT loose the channels when turned off.

Should not be a problem there, have mine plugged into a DVD recorder with freeview, means a twin tuner type set-up.The Sky box will output it's signal to the TV,according to the cable connected.and the source selected on the TV.

#19

Got one of these for £79.99 last time - first one lost channels etc but the replacement (which was handled well by Dixons btw) is fine so I say hot deal still as these should be £120 minimum.

Ordered. Hot deal if you get a refurb which hasn't been sold and returned, will wait with baited breath!

I'd like to know this too

It would seem that looking at an old deal for the 22" version on here that these models do have an EPG, but it's small and badly designed.
Also the sound quality is poor and if you're considering this for uni apparently noise is silent at 0 and then goes up loads for 1. This may be fixed by using your own speakers, apparently there is a 3.5mm jack on the back.
If you don't like it I think you can just send it back.

i brought one of these a month ago. very pleased with picture for money.
no doubt they were refurbished though.
#26
bought this in August..for 79.99 great little tv ,.,mine came nice and new but with a loose screw knocking in the tv. It did cause short circuit so i sent it back and got another one...

No fault as yet..The screen is a bit darker than before even with changes of picture settings

Audio issues remain the same as before....1 - 20 no difference in volume...so quite loud at level 1.

EPG is too small for the screen only covers quarter of the screen...

but apart from that no issues...

Received the TV last week, the set looks like new, really pleased with it

Ordered a 19" model and was extremely pleased and have now ordered a 22" with built in DVD as it's just too cheap to say no to

Bought the 19inch tv after reading these reviews. Ordered the thursday arrived on the monday. Tv is 100% A ok. Looks wise its very stylish and adjusts up and down and left and right on the stand easily. As others have said you'd think it was brand new and not refurbished. Ok the sounds not the best but it aint that big of a deal. I will put pictures up if anyone wants to see them.

Still around :)

Merci buckets, 2 en route

Bought this TV last week and, like others, arrives as if it is new.
Easily picked up all the digital/analogue channels via rooftop aerial. No problems so far anyway.

The only slightly annoying thing is the volume being too loud on the lower settings like others have mentioned.

I've found a (not very nice) workaround that seems to work consistently. In Audio Settings:
--change volume setting to "Multimedia" (once only)
--*set "AVC" to 'On'

*not nice because after switching the TV off it only seems to take affect if you switch AVC back to Off and then back to On again.

So not a nice workaround but at least (seems to) work if the need necessitates.
Anyone found a better solution to this?

Does anyone else have a problem with the EPG on this TV? Every time I turn to it the TV locks and and EPG only flashes up then goes away. Any advice appreciated.
