This 1TB drive makes a great upgrade for a Super Slim PS3. We upgraded ours about 6 months ago and it's worked flawlessly ever since.

£41.90 + £2.99 delivery.

Thanks. Not sure why this is going cold. It's a good price for a decent notebook/console drive.

Sweet. If only I could find a good 2TB for my PS4 at a great price... Every time I see a deal on one, my pockets are empty haha!

Plus a £5.95 delivery charge from that third party vendor, so it works out much more expensive.

Is it true that when playing music with a replacement HDD that the music will skip because the needle will 'rest' after a certain amount of time? Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

not true, the drive will only idle when it's not being accessed.

Never had that problem.I bought a new PS3 2 years when my original 60GB "phat" decided to die. I swapped out the 250GB I had put in it and put it in the new PS3 and had no issues at all. :)
