why the cold votes this is a laptop hard drive for pick up today same people aint got a clue but vote cold
#2
Maybe some of the cold votes are because it's cheaper from some online retailers (£33.22 delivered from Dabs), though of course this particular deal may suit people who would rather collect from the store.

so true, but the people who are the cold votes have never posted any deals on hot ukdeals

"Only vote cold if you leave a reason why" - seems like a good enough reason to vote cold! You should not ask this - some people will leave reasons and vote, some will just vote. Not a good deal either!

Maybe, but they offer advice and info, and get reputation for that, Some people are brilliant at finding the deals, and hats off to them, I see the odd deal, but rarely am I first to find it. Other people have technical knowledge or experience of products or specialist knowledge, and help a lot in deciding which to buy, and getting the best deal. I am very interested in what they have to say as much as the original "deal" in the firsst place.

Just because something is cheap (or in this case not) doesn't make it a hot deal. I could fill the pages full of Asda Smartprice offers (some do!), they are cheap, but not necessarily good deals at all :-(

hmm, its really not a good deal at all, a quick search for the drive on google shopping shows almost 6 pages of cheaper prices than this. BT shop does it for £36.46 delivered, pc world is £40.94!!!!!!!!
Cold vote im afraid

Also, if you read the 5% discount thread you have quoted from pc world, youll see that it may not apply to pick up from store, worked for some and not others so it could be a bit of a gamble.

krishan
just tried on collect at store and doesnt work, but does for delivery at home :)

DellboyO
Well according to a sales assistant he said the above post is bull as you cannot take to checkout as they are in a cage which they were when i got mine....and yes i got the discount although they never heard of the discount code and there was no where to enter it either so he just deducted the 5% off....but it did take about 20min's to sort it out!.

£38.96 delivered from pc world (including 5% discount on home delivery)
£36.46 delivered from BT shop (£35.37 including 3% quidco)

No, it's not the hard drive you posted. It's a better brand. Apart from that though, same size, same speed, same capacity.

Do you want us to find the EXACT same hard drive as yours for less, rather than finding better ones for less?

Some.

And if the deals were bad, then no-one would have a problem with you voting them cold.

well done but you cant pick that up from store, your have to wait and wait 3 to 5 days for it then you would have a day of work to wait in for it lose a days money. like i would have to. so go to pc-world price match get it for your price plus 10% more off anyway it took you all day to find that
