Terrible retailer.

Last order I made was missing an item and customer support was less than helpful.

At 12.5mm thick it won't fit in most laptops and there are cheaper 400GB 9.5mm thick drives available: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Hard+Drives/Laptop/Toshiba+MK4055GSX+400GB+2.5%22+SATA+II+Hard+Drive+-+OEM+?productId=39593

Amazon have a 500GB 9.5mm Western Digital drive for £55.83 which makes this very cold - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001JSSDGU/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Yup, I also ordered 4 ATMT external DVD writers and 2 came as empty shells. As I didn't check all 4 at time of delivery, they decided to class them as shortages and not incorrect items. They therefore decided it was MY error. I checked the first one and just stored the others away until sold. I'm not sure about others, but I don't generally check all items have everything it should ie cables, software etc. I (maybe badly) assume items should come as shown. It's not as if they sold these units as bare drives. Anyhow, I suspect, some staff member treated himself to two dvdrw drives.

It would give me great pleasure to see SVP go bust after the way they spoke to and treated me.

Yep, bankrupcy would be a fitting end to such an awful company.

I never did get my missing item sorted out, it was when they had the audacity to claim they had a photo of my order showing it to be complete that made me realise what complete bull$hitters they were.
