Native Resolution is: 1366 x 768 making this a 720p set for those interested and without intending to start a debate on 720p vs. 1080p either.

Major flaw in this set imo is the only 1 hdmi socket.

I recommend going into Comets/Currys/RS etc and seeing for yourself which Panels you prefer.

I'd say the major flaw is the absence of a TV tuner!

Please note, this is a screen only and requires a separate means of TV reception. Suitable sources include SkyHD, VirginHD, Freesat box, DVD recorder with HDMI.

Not voting, based on the fact that for £300 it should at least come with a FreeView tuner!

Also note that it doesn't have ANY inbuilt tuners. You need to feed it with an external box. I don't think it has speakers either.

The thinking behind this screen is thatit is a component in an A/V setup. The owner will be using an A/V amp (which will have multiple HDMI sockets) and external tuner.

Hot
Almost £800.00 amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001C35BB2/300002234-21/?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

A freeview box only costs about £20 and if your gonna hook it up to sky you dont need the freeview.

Sony is bringing out a tv only 1cm thick it to will not have freeview, but will come with a stand alone media reciever which will connect to the tv wireless

I dont think I can vote vote hot based on another inflated price on amazon. Im voting cold because the specs are quite ordinary and it only has 1 HDMI connection (im not voting cold because it hasnt got a tuner as you can hook anything up to it, but 1 HDMI connection in the circumstances is a massive drawback).

this looks like a nice panel however Im with the majority the lack of connectivity and inbuilt tuner/speakers etc is a huge let down, for the price I personally would go for something like this
