Matter of opinion, I use both regularly and have no bother with either, however would not say one is better than the other.

Actually , IMHO ebuyers return policy is much better as when returning an item, they pick it up for you rather than you having to pay to send it off

I used to disagree, I had an item go missing in the post a couple years back with amazon and they sent out as replacement the day after the expected delivery date. Had something go missing again the other day and they say I have to wait another 2 weeks before they will act on it (21 days from despatch)


So if that policy is anything to go by I'd say they aren't all that.

always look at the guarantee, also there is something called the bucket curve, if you buy any man made product if it lasts at least 3 months then it will have a good life span, if it doesnt then you should be very wary of the product/brand, after you have used it many times the product will go faulty at some point...i find the usb portable hard drives to be better, you just plug and play and can take it anywhere with you, sometimes big retailers have them on offer for about £45 for 320gb or £50 for 500gb, they are very useful, even if your backing up a backup.
