My local PC World (Brighton) had about 20 of these boxsets containing Far Cry, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, TOCA Race Driver 2, Prince of Persia SOT, Hitman Contracts and Deus Ex Invisible War. They are listed as out of stock on the Website but if you can find it instore I'd recommend it, the games may be 2 years old now but there still top quality.

I just saw loads of these in the manchester store, I allready own 3 of the games from it, so wasn't intrested, but its an awesome set.

That's a damn good set of games, there's not a remotely average or bad title in there, they're all very good/excellent.
You can pick up a lot of these games for about £1.99 used in Gamestation, but to get them all new for that price is a bargain.

Worth it for Far Cry and Prince of Persia alone - both outstanding games.

Good to hear its not just the Brighton store Lewiep. Has anyone else found this in their local PC World?

My local store Truro, Cornwall only had one copy, but ask for a price check, as it still had the original price of £19.99, but the price came up as £6.97 at the till.
Cheers for the deal voted hot.

I would encourage you to be warey of the PC port of PoP, without a gamepad its pretty bad to control.

Your quite right Lewiep. I ended up purchasing a Playstation to PC 2 port adaptor (£5 delivered via ebay) so that I could use a couple of playstation analogue joypads which made it a hell of a lot easier to control. I don't rate most PC pads, as they tend to be overpriced and far less comfortable.

Be aware that Race Driver 2 (and possibly others) have the Starforce copy protection which has been know to REALLY screw up some machines.

I've played through the game three times using a keyboard (used to play it while commuting), I didn't really have any problems - everything works at 45 degrees so I didn't find keyboard controls too much of an issue. Two Thrones on the other hand is a lot more of a handful without a gamepad...

Had a basket full of these (At least 10 boxes) by the clearance section of PC World Merry Hill, Dudley, West Midlands clearly marked up at £6.97 so I would gather its a nationwide offer (depending on stock availability) excellent find, thanks to the original poster, got my copy.

Note to those interested, these are all OEM and you have to print out the manual of each game from an Adobe Reader PDF file, game serial numbers are printed on a sticker on the reverse label of the paper wallets the cd's/dvd's come in.

Hi all.
I saw this in my pc world in blackpool on sunday and thought nothing of it.
However, I have been looking for a rpg fps game. Doom, thief that sort of thing. Then I looked up far cry and saw some good reviews. So I went back yesterday luckily they still had some. And man I have to admit well worth it.
Far cry is a well cool game sort of like hitman (also included) with a resident evil element. Great game well worth it for anyone.

Hi Katz1977, thanks for the feedback. If your after an RPG/FPS you should install Deus Ex: Invisible War. It's a great, highly underrated and often overlooked game. Oh and thanks to cicobuff too for the kind words.
