The HJC CS-12N Session Helmet combines great value for money and great looks. The helmet comes with washable and removable bio-ceramic nylex lining and cheeks pads.

I know its not the best helmet in the world and its no Arai... but at least its branded and HJC is a very good brand!
If you want a safer helmet, dig deeper and buy the carbon one (see my other post)

is it safe buying helmets by post, if they're dropped etc whilst in transit?

yes, mine arrived very well packed and they are only damaged if its a direct drop from above waist height onto the lid itself.
I doubt you could do much damage to a lid whilst its in its packaging.
