It adds £1 to your e-wallet at HMVdigital, but then when you go to the regular HMV store, the voucher is still there, and you can add it to your checkout, as below!!

Just a point to note though - this is not technically what the voucher was issued for (it was for music downloads), so it may not last long.

Maybe i'm just being paranoid, but this seems weird...

Asking for personal information, no padlock in corner and no https://, ie. page is not secure.

Just a warning to be careful, if the £1 is worth it to you, go for it...

P.S. Also its using frames for no obvious reason...

Please change the link to - https://www.hmvdigital.com/HMV.Digital.WebStore.Portal/Pages/System/Secure/SignInPromotion.aspx
for the actual proper secure link.

dont workk for me says login is incorrect but i just had em send me new login so it aint

:( not one for me!
#4
yeah i cant log in with my normal account either on that page or main hmv login site is bit strange, so i registered new account on g/f name and it worked
#5
I had to create an account as it's HMV digital, but then it transfers over to the proper HMV section. It wouldn't let me log in either.
#6
I take it all back, you do need to re-register of sorts :)

As for no padlock, try this url instead

Lol, be quick, you've only 10 years to use it :), check the expiry date :)

Especially on some of the £3.99 bargains posted here in the last day or two. I've bought two DVDs for £3.99, wish I had known this then!

To see the latest best offers from HMV, go to the front page, use the filters on the left to select HMV as the merchant, and click filter :)

ok it worked!!!
#12

#13
Kev, do you (already) have an HMV account for their store, but NOT an HMV Digital account?
#14
Thanks for this. Managed to finally find a DVD that I wanted. The Office Series 2 at only £3.99 (will start another thread about it).

Got a quid off it.

Went via Quidco as well. :-D

Just ordered the office dvd using this code. In my account the £1 discount has been applied, however in the confirmation email its not been deducted.

Make sure you check your email if using the code. Nice find though :)
#18
not working for me. £1 discount shows during checkout but will not let me add the £1 off. box stays at 0.00 for discount applied.

And what were you charged in the end? The discounted price?
#24

#25
Hmmm interesting. We might still be charged the lower price then :)
#26
*Please enter valid HMV Promotional code
then i try again:

I found that if I took 'NumLock' off and typed the amount in, it worked fine.

Drat - ah well, even at £3.99 it's a bargain.

Now put through for 3 x £1 discounts on different e-mail addresses...got all 3, spent 2 AND most importantly have got the items & only been charged the discounted price.
Damn good little code, especially if you check out titles from £1.99 (OK, maybe £2.99 before you actually hit anything really worth having!).
***Lets have a little extra credit for Intenso100***
