Just called into Poundland on my way home from work to see if they had any decent dvds in. On a shelf nearby I noticed a few beer glasses. Tucked at the back were a load of boxed Hoegaarden glasses. They are the really solid, heavy type you get in certain pubs - see image link below.
These sell for around six or seven pound each brand new from specialist beer sites. On the shelf there was nothing about them being 3 for £1. When I got to the till I was very surprised when they came through at £2 for six glasses.
My kids use these for juice/milk - not the heavy stuff yet - the two I already owned have been dropped a few times, yet are still well intact.
They also had Belle-Vue Framboise glasses as well as Diebels Pils. Again expensive glasses if bought elsewhere. I am guessing they are 3 for £1 too.

I know you can nick these from pubs but for this price you don't need to pay £2 odd for a half of it.
