Are they heavy? And how big are they, as I would be thinking of buying them for abroad.

Interesting, I'm off to Cuba in September, and think this looks good. Is it heavy?

Looks interesting but i cant see it floating if your lying on it and i dont think i could bear the humiliation of having everyone poolside laugh themselves silly as you sink to the bottom wrapped up in a big plastic bag.

That really made me laugh X)

Looks good but I have something similar and never got it folded back up! You need to twist it round or something.

Hot though as good price

These are copies of the "Kelsyus" Water Hammock.

http://www.kelsyus.com/floating-hammock-p-137.aspx

If they are eactly the same, then the weight (According to amazon) is 2.6 pounds.. I bought one last year for a holiday to Mexico and I think the weight is about 1.5kg.. It not heavy by any means, but with the current weight restrictions that Airlines are enforcing, it does represent a fair percentage of your luggage allowance.

Can't see the point of this, even if it works (and how does one get onto it without it sinking?).

Even if you can float on the water, some annoying kids will keep splashing you, or worse, you'll get capsized.

Believe me it works.. You just sit on the mesh.. Lie back and it supports you.. .And you can't get capsized as it supports you IN the water.. So you just float, lying IN the water..

just ordered 2, saw them when i was in Dominican Republic and thought they were an amazing idea

Love the idea of these lol. The ebay one doesn't have the inflatable ring, therefore surely it is unsuitable for use on the water.
