I have just booked this 2for1 offer for dates in August 2011, even though it states for nights upto 31/3/11!!

Well worth a look.

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/1/en/c/1/content/dec/teaser/6c/1/en/lp/emea/twofor.html?rateCode=IDEX1

Prices do vary from night to night so if flexible within a week check all possibilities.

Hope that explains it.

doesnt work for me but cheaper deal this way

It does appear to be working beyond 31 March, but not with all hotels though. Not sure why T&C state "...bookings and stays made from November 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011".

Sorry, Didn't see you mention the March date; not looking properly obviously! Thanks :-)

Cant seem to get any hotels anywhere ,with this offer?!
#9
I'm confused, do they charge the full £59 anytime between me booking and me staying or do they just take a deposit now and how much is that?
#10
Sorry I have done , most city's in the south west, not one on offer!
#11
I just booked for Tamworth 1st-3rd July - £59 for two nights! Bargain! Just wondering when they take the money now? Anyone know?
#12
thanks for the thanks, I am on here too but decided not to post it here as when I searched it had already been posted. Always worth a repost I suppose.

I thought I'd get some example quotes for actual bookable stays to show the typical offers available.

Newcastle City Centre - £37.50prpn (21-23 Aug)
(£67.50prpn on lastminute.com)

Brighton Seafront - £52.50prpn (24th - 26th July)
(£88.00prpn on lastminute.com)

London Heathrow - (Crowne Plaza) £37.50prpn 13-15 May)
(£60.00prpn on lastminute.com)

Near Alton Towers - £27.50 prpn (17-19 July)
(£46.50prpn on lastminute.com)

Also if you are happy staying outside a city centre there are numerous hotels where it can cost less than £30prpn, I have found these in Nottingham/Derby and Washington.

This offer is probably the cheapest way to book a two night stay with the holiday inn brand although not strictly half price in all cases. The above prices include VAT. It is also true to say that the offer seems more plentiful and cheaper if you stay mid week or include a sunday in your stay.

Charis,

Any chance you could help me out? I booked for Tamworth yesterday and on the last page it stated full payment must be made at time of booking, then on the line underneath it stated they needed a deposit but never mentioned how much. Then in a sepearte place it stated payment would be taken between time of booking and arrival. Basically, have you booked like this before and when exactly do you pay for your stay?

I'm a little confused, any help would be appriciated!

In my experience when you book on-line and the hotel pocesses it some time later.

They normaly send me a paper receipt by post.

These are not refundable but you can negotiate with the hotel if plans change.

NOTE for those having trouble you have to do 2 days and 2 days only
if you want multipes you have to do morethan one booking and that is OK.
For odd days look at family and freinds rates and do a combination to get the price as low as you can.

the 2-4-1 is actualy 1st night full price second night free so always check ajacent days if you have a bit of flexability

THis is ongoing and has been available for years ignorethe dates on the T&C if it works in the booking engine you get the deal.

I booked yesterday and the amount was deducted from my card today, just checked online. That was the full amount.

Agree with getmore4less regarding this offer always being available. This is the third time I have benefited from this offer. Now when I want to book a hotel I always google 'holiday inn 2 for 1' never failed me so far! Thats how I found this current offer.

I have also stayed for a total of four nights before with two separate 2 for 1 bookings. When I got to the hotel I just said I had made two separate bookings for a total of four nights and they ensured I didn't need to change rooms.
#18
That's strange, I booked on the 17th and they still haven't charged me. I would prefer payment to come out straight away really, do you think if I ring them and ask them to take payment now they would oblige?
#19
They've taken it, fantastic. Two nights two adults, two children including breakfast £59, you can't go wrong! What a deal!

Cheers. Helped me out. Don't forget topcashback or Quidco - Log in via your topcashback/quidco account first to the company website (so it tracks), then copy the op's link to your browser bar, then you're away, 2 for 1 plus possible 5% cashback!! :-)
