Earlier you book - the more available...........heads up booking starts saturday.

Thanks to Martin on MSE - Notes: This Sat 26 Sept at 00.01am, Holiday Inn is launching a £29 & £35 UK Christmas room sale. Holiday Inn Express rooms (usually £40-£60) will be £29 and Holiday Inn rooms (usually £50-£80) £35. There are also Crowne Plaza rooms for £49 (normally c. £70). Stays must be between 17 Dec - 31 Jan.

There will be 10,000s of cheap rooms up for grabs, and the deal will be visable on the homepages of Holidayinn, Crowneplaza, and Holidayinnexpress. There is no limit to the number of nights you can stay. A few London hotels will add taxes on top of the £29 / £35, but the press office confirmed that amount you will pay will be clearly displayed.

thanks. but shouldnt this be in misc till the start date? otherwise u end up forgetting about it?
will have to note this on my diary
must be booked by 30th Sept for stays between 17 dec - 30th jan 2010. very good deal considering at some of the holiday inn's and express' upto 2 adults and 2 children can stay with continental breakfast at the holiday inn express. Beats the boring and dull Travelodge rooms anyday, even if it is £10-£15 more.
im going away nov 13th is there any vouchers for that
dont forget quidco as well, normally 7%

there last sale which ended on the 25th was better for the holiday inn, you got breakfast for not much more than that price :(
Booked up for December 19th. Cheers!
Cracking deal, thanks:thumbsup:
quidco never seems to work now for holiday inn neither does cashbackkings. Does not even show as a zero amount then change.
Why does Holiday Inn insist on quoting prices sometimes with and sometimes without VAT?

VAT extra may be OK when they are selling 2000 rooms to British Airways but if they display prices to ordinary punters and then add VAT surely they are just trying to trick them into thinking the prices are lower than they are.

Shabby practice for such a large firm
Just booked a room for the firms Christmas bash in Central London - total price 40.25.

Happy with that!
Absolutely brill price....booked up for boxing day..... family room for £29!! absolutely brill
Many thanks for posting:roll:
Should the title be changed - Isn't it bookable until 30 Sept?
Great deal, trying to book up for leeds for my birthday on the 9th...does anyone know if you pay the full £29 now or a deposit as I do not have confirmed numbers of girls wishing to go. Thanks!
Great deal, might take this up. :)
great deal .. now need to go through the rather tedious and difficult to use online booking system
Check the 2-4-1 rates as well before booking.

The hotel we stay at over Xmas is £35pn on this deal but £27.50pn on the 2-4-1.

We are also due some new DB&B rates probably after this expires.

Yep, the 2 for 1 offer is great but it also depends how many nights you're looking for, so this is a great alternative for those looking for a single night out. :)
any recommendations for good hotels with a swimming pool near interesting sights and/or walks - will travel anywhere interesting and looking to book 23-27 Dec :)
just booked for new year but it was £3 a night cheaper through the post from trickyjabs..i know it's only £3 but every little's £29 a night with holiday inn express offer but through it's slightly cheaper
