Book a night at the Holiday Inn Express @ Lichfield and get a free family pass (2 adults & 2 children) to Drayton Manor Park.

This is a great deal, family tickets to DMP would be £69. The Holiday Inn Express is for a family room INC continental breakfast.

To get the deal, go to the HIE website, and enter Lichfield as a location. Click on the first hotel it brings up in the search, then enter your dates you want (I have tried all Saturdays from now right through to the end of Aug and there's availability!) When it brings up the prices of the available rooms make sure you click on `Drayton Manor 2AD2CH` and bobs your uncle!

FYI, this hotel is about 2.5 miles from the centre of Lichfield, which is a lovely city to visit.

Easy to get to Drayton Manor, as the hotel sits on the A5, about 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Normal rates from around £39/£49 a room, at the weekend, room-only.

Plus, booking through Holiday Inn site allows you to earn Priority Club points, for free rooms in the future. Right now, register for the deal to earn 1000 bonus points per night stayed, until the end of april. http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/pc/1/en/c/10/content/dec/teaser/pc/0/en/lp/promolp/q110/mbext.html?_promoCode=6092&cm_sp=IMMerch-_-CP_AM_en-_-BottomLeftSlot_Stay1_Get1000&a=b

So this is a great deal, heat added. Also 7% Quidcohttp://www.quidco.com/holiday-inn-intercontinental

Excellent - booked another weekend. Thanks op
#7
I presume you have to go to the Hotel to pick up the tickets first?
#8
hmmmm interesting offer so if me and my brother and 2 nephews book would i qualify for this for the family ticket ? cause i want to take my nephews to drayton manor
#9
I thought smoking was banned in hotel rooms?!?!
#10
dont forget adult prices at drayton start at 12+ so would have to pay for extra ticket at adult price.

i.e. 2 adults 2 child one @ 11 and 1 @ 12

2A2CH room price and extra adult ticket

£65 plus £28 = £93
#11
Wicked deal, just booked in Easter Holidays and OK it's £10 extra @ £76.50 but hey, looking on Drayton Manor's website their family ticket for 4 people is £90 odd quid so bargain, can't wait!
#12
Gone through quidco but struggling to see the deal for the theme park. I must be doing something wrong maybe? Top deal BTW.

Got 66.50 sunday/monday. Do you think you'd be able to get there early and pick the tickets up for that day, or do you think you will have to wait for check in?

You mean go to DM on the Sunday, and then stay over Sunday night? The Holiday Inn is about 1/2 mile from where I am at the moment, do you want me to go and ask them ?? :p

I can't see it would be a problem as long as you've booked the room, as the tickets seem to be open ended.

Yeah, i'll just stay at your house then, in your bed lol! I'm thinking its just worth buying the 2 adult tickets for us if under 4's are free and then driving home. Dog kennels on top to think of :(

lol, will probably get a better breakfast than you would from the Holiday Inn that way too :-D Might be a squeeze to fit your two dogs in my dog's basket though :p

If you've got any Tesco clubcard vouchers it'd probably be cheaper to get the two adult tickets that way, or if you go term time you can do the adult/toddler combined tickets which are £19 each.

Right so if we go 15th April, its £19 for me and babes, and 28 quid for the headache (hubby)? And can we still use tesco vouchers for this?
#28
Do you have to take kids? Can just me and the missus go and use the family voucher or do you have to take kids?

£7.50 of vouchers gets you one adult ticket, so if you've got enough, you're probably best to use £15 worth of them to get all three of you in  Or £7.50 of vouchers for the OH and then just pay the £19 for you and the little 'un.

Over the Easter holidays (in Staffs they run 2nd April - 15 April) it'll be stupidly busy every day. If you go, get there for when the park opens (rather than when the rides open), and if you intend to go around Thomas Land, try and do that first before it gets even busier ( the Thomas/Percy train rides and the Troublesome Trucks rollercoaster as usually the worst for queueing).

Think i will give it a miss then, completly forgot the kids would be off too.

The joys of working!

Great offer, they have opened one of these hotels in Tamworth next to the Snowdome, less than 2 miles from Drayton Manor but costs over £100 for the same package, you would have thought this offer would have been available at this hotel as well?

Although they are doing a Twycross Zoo package for around £70 for family room and zoo family pass ticket at the Tamworth hotel if you prefer monkey zoos

Urgh! Can you think of anything more disgusting than staying in a hotel room with a yellow ceiling and carpets and walls that stink of horrid stale fag smoke? It's enough to make anyone sick.

Smoking should be banned everywhere other than your own home...in this day and age there's no need for it.

Does anyone actually still smoke though? Surely knowing what we do now , nobody would purposely do something they know will kill them?

I take it you're a smoker or you would know that any room where someone has been smoking stinks like an old ashtray. It also makes you and your clothes reek of nicotine, I'd personally rather pay full price than put up with the stink :whistling:

Go and stand outside any NHS hospital for an hour, you will see half dead patients stood outside with their drips coughing and their lungs out inbetween puffs AND staff including doctors!!! always amazes me! :?
