Got an email for Debenhams Travel Insurance offer, so took it up as travelling in new year.

Policy can be single or multiple trip, one or annual use [31 days PER trip max!] purchase.

You get a £5.00 Debenhams Gift Card on a single OR a £10 Debenhams Gift Card on an annual policy.

So mine was £11, less the £5 card, less the 10.5%, so got it for £5.37 ;-)

Afaik, the cheapest in the Land!

anyone know how long this will last? :)

Judging on my experience of debenhams customer service I would steer clear. I would opt for amex cover for peace of mind and it is only slightly more expensive

But if you get insurance now for a trip next year and then have to cancel cos of family illness etc, you're not covered. The single trip just covers you for the period you're away

DCS said it is on until Jan 31st, but not seen the free gift card extra last that long!

Never had any issues and also neither has any of our StreetGB lit, never actually spoken to debenhams insurance about any issues, have you had some with them??

Not sure what you mean? I have 2, one in Jan and one in Feb, both are covered for the days I travel, if I cancel because of something not in their T&C and not in the time allowed, I think £5 is not a massive sum to loose? Also why would you want Holiday Travel Insurance if you are NOT away?

008 ring Customer service and ask anything you like they won't be able to help you. It's laughable. There are lots of poor reviews for travel insurance look on money saving expert.

Because say you book and pay for holiday in March now and your granny dies 3 days before you travel or you break your leg or have a heart attack, this insurance wouldn't cover you for cancellation
