Always good to have in the boot even if the tyre fitters do hate them, have personally used a few times.

Hot from me

do they mess up your alloy?

No but they do make a mess of the inside of your tyre...... It's basically really sticky expanding foam. Not meant as a replacement for getting punture repaired but more to get you home if your stuck with a pucture

You'll need two cans if you have wheels over 15" in diameter.

Still a hot deal though

Useful to know that if you have an older car with an alloy wheel that leaks air, this will sort it out - much cheaper than a new alloy wheel. As said already though, tyre fitters wont love you if they have to replace the tyre though.

But would it not just be a temporary fix? Would it last?

I worked fine for me for over 6 months, at which stage I sold the car. It was a choice of spending £200 for a new Alloy wheel or doing this.

It's certainly not a permanent fix for a punctured tyre though.
