The KJV is beautiful to read, but in terms of accuracy in translation it lags behind the NASB and the ESV.

*SPOILER WARNING*

The twist when that dude comes back from the dead is so unbelievable and ruins the whole story. I bet M. Night Shyamalan ghost wrote it.

The KJV is beautiful to read, but in terms of accuracy in translation it lags behind the NASB and the ESV.
NASB
6 While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.
7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son ; and she wrapped Him in cloths,
and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

ESV
6 While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.
7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son ; and she wrapped Him in cloths,
and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

KJV
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that
she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Self evident IMO. The other 2 are for the learning disabled.

Beautifully put. The KJV is a true work of art

May God be merciful to those who hate His word, even those who mock without having ever read it. It is a book that gives hope for the hopeless, freedom for the guilty, and wisdom for the fool. I praise God that He revealed Himself to me through His word, and by His grace has saved me. Though I am deserving of His wrath, I learned that God so loved the world that He had deep compassion on it, and became a human, so that He could live a perfect life, because none of us can. And as a substitute for me, and all who trust in Him, He died taking the punishment I deserve, even though He was blameless. And He gave me His righteousness as a free gift. I did not earn it, He did. That is how God has demonstrated His love for us, and how do people respond? They mock, they ridicule, just as they did when He walked the earth. And when He was resurrected, He ate, He talked and showed Himself to more than 500 eye witnesses. It's funny how people take eye-witness testimony in a court of law, but most people deny the fact of the resurrection, even though they have no body to show the evidence. They imagine that the eye witnesses hallucinated, but it's silly to think so many people saw and heard the same things. I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to all who believe.

God became human? I'm no scholar but I have to admit I missed that bit.

If you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you'll get the lowdown. The incarnation is pretty much the point of the New Testament. God became man (Jesus), fully God, fully man (the Hypostatic Union). Read these in conjunction with the prophecy of Isaiah (Chapter 53), and then note that Isaiah was written ~700 years prior to Jesus' incarnation.

Terrible straw man. Hell is the just punishment for sin against an untimately just and holy God. Repent and live.

Eagerly awaiting the disproof.
