I can confirm that box was for sale at £1 because my wife was the one that did the mark down (just asked her), what is the point in having a wife on the entertainment department when she comes home not with a box set but The Polar Express what she loves and i have to suffer :D btw that was a pound too.

why do i never see these deals when i am in tesco?? i'm not doubting it's true - just about to add heat - but i just get frustrated with myself as it's something i would definately buy. already have the 2nd one which is my fave, but love the first one too. worth it for the john candy cameo alone! hope they still have it when we make our weekly pilgrimage next week to buy more food that no-one wants....;)

A good deal, they pay you £1 to take it away, sweet.

Doesn't matter what a total wazzak McCauley Rumple Stiltskin is, these always gondown well over Christmas. It tickles me the way everyone says "blimey, not again" for the 1st 10 mins and the then settles into it. And won't be too happy if the phone goes during.

Quality post. Quality set.

I'd argue that 1-2 are the only part of the set that you need as these were the original and the best. For £1.00, an absolute bargain and if I were anywhere near a tesco, I would snap these up. Great find!

Personally speaking I would rate HA1 as one of my all time classics.
Christmas would not be Christmas without watching it at least once over the festive period.
HA2 was ok...... the rest I have tried to forget as quickly as possible.

I have been to 2 Tescos today and unfortunately no sign of this great deal - is it only in the Tesco Express stores ?

Picked up a copy today in a normal Tesco superstore. Thanks OP.
