Thought Id better let you know this deal if youre looking for cheap broadband and a mobile phone package only appropriate for the larger towns on Orange enabled exhanges.

Buy a contract orange mobile via the cashback site quidco.com they are giving a £150 instant rebate from Orange for any new contract (offer closes Thursday). Just buy a £15 per month Orange phone with say 100 anytime minutes and unlimited texts (ie for kids!).
Any Orange contract phone can get free broadband 10Gig limit, free wireless router, 8Meg http://www.orange.co.uk/time/broadbandstarter/

With the rebate must be under £8 a month on average, however contracts are 18 months, maybe 24 months.

I've been happy with Orange mobile but hear bad reports on the broadband customer support - still with the contract mobile the calls to broadband support are free ! ?? Yes Do need to allow the £10.50 a month already paying for phone line rental.

Good deal.. would rather go for O2 Broadband though £7.50 if you have a O2 Mobile.

They're meant to have great customer service as far as I've heard.

Orange customer service is awful.. if your internet stops working, they tell you to restart.. if that fails.. wait, could be upto a month at times.

DO NOT touch Orange broadband. I have it and the service has got progressively worse and worse. Their customer service is non existent, their operators are rude and they lie - they still insist that I am getting 1meg speed even though BT themselves have put it in writing that my line only supports 512 max (yes I KNOW - its the price i pay for living in the countryside at the end of the exchange line :x:x

O2 Customer Services is probably one of the best I've ever dealt with and you'll get better speeds, both download and more improtantly upload...Orange on the other hand...I'd leave well alone!

Id totally agree. Had O2 broadband for 9 months and would not consider moving now. Superb customer service, here in the UK on a freephone number and people that actually know what they are talking about rather than reading from a script.

I tried to troubleshoot a friends Orange Broadband and queued for an eternity to finally speak with a muppet.

Have to agree with you. I would not rec Orange they lie, pass you from one call centre to another cut you off and I was with them for over 11 years. THEY ARE A WASTE OF SPACE.

I'm with orange, absolutely terrible service.. from the live box and the employee's. 6 times in the past year I have had to have BT come repair my line outside my house.

The speed is rubbish, however I also live in the countryside :(

Do not go with orange as ISP!! ---> mobile phone network from orange is ok though!
