I suspect a Liverpool shirt with Torres on the back would be cheaper.

I think they've all been burnt.

so childish....... why so cold :)

It was perhaps inevitable that a deal involving Torres would turn BLUE.
#5
Obviously trying to recoup that £50m as soon as they can!
#6
I would have rather seen Andy Carrol in blue, as I said many times before he should be casted for Avatar 2.

By the time Torres starts scoring again most of the first team will have retired and abramovich will have **** off.
#8
congrats Torres on your promotion to the blue shirt. HOT DEAL

Ridiculous price.... have some ice!

Wow, this could be the bluest deal on here.

I've looked, but it's impossible to get this type of shirt cheaper. But you do get to wear it when supporting your team in the Champions League.

"If only Richard Keys was still employed by Sky- he would've said the Torres transfer didn't break the British transfer record, it smashed it"

i dont support either of these teams, but it looks weird seeing torres' name on a chelski shirt!

Apparently Richard Keys phoned up Kenny Dalglish last night regarding the Andy Carroll buy.

"You know that British transfer record, did you smash it?"

Only need to sell 1164415 shirts. God knows how many mugs need to be sold for the wages!

Why do people call it the British transfer record - they should call it what it is - the English transfer record. Players in other parts of the UK that are not England usually move on for about £20 plus a couple of cans of Tennetts Super as a signing on bonus at most, so are hardly going to affect the record transfer.

As a life long Liverpool fan I wish him well at Chelsea,as any top player he wants to play in the best sides and win things, and although it pains me to say it Liverpool are a long way from winning anything in the near future.

I do believe that it was in fact Newcastle that recently sold a mug.

The consensus of opinion seems to think Torres in a Chelsea shirt is a poor deal. I concur. I look forward to the Andy Carroll thread for some real good laughs!

This thread is Super Blue in honour of Fernando.

This is a rip off even for a chelsea fan. The shirt will only be valid till end of season. I paid about £30 but had my own name on the back of the chelsea shirts so this is a crap deal.

I can understand mancs and scousers voting cold, but can all the fans of teams like scunthorpe, rotherham, plymouth, etc (Never mind brummies, geordies etc), honestly say they would refuse to allow a billionaire to buy their club and get them better players and regular european football ?
Vote cold through jealousy if you want, but at least have the guts and honesty to admit it ??
