The description sez they are non dimmable - so why would anyone need a dimmer?
power supply and dimmers(comes with remote fob) are readily available very cheap on ebay but from hong kong . Im most happy being able to dim them as it gives a very ambient subtle glow at night time
Bought one. Thanks, had been looking for this at a reasonable price.

Similar strips can be had from here: http://dx.com/p/24w-3300k-1600-lumen-300-x-3528-smd-led-warm-white-light-flexible-strip-5m-length-dc-12v-93392?item=41, so I don't find this price particularly amazing, the strip in my link also comes with required connector to modify your own power supply to connect to the strip.

Complete noob question here, but can I use any 12v adapter as long as the ampage is sufficient for the length I am running? So on this one about 0.5a per meter? What happens if I use too much? I have a stack of old virgin media hubs and PSUs, wondering if I can re-task a few!
