Wish I'd have gone here when I went on a trip to London earlier this year.. really regret not going, I was being a cheap skate. I give heat for this deal, great price! (y)
Anyone who's not been tho ripleys I'd highly recommend it. Went last year with the kids and we absolutely loved it. We booked with picniq.co.uk who had the best price at the time.
Heat! Great coffee table book!

Factually, that's incorrect.

I wish to disagree I’ve found putting my weeds in a kettle of hot water quite effective

RoosterNo1
You need to understand the purpose of these things...
You're not supposed to nuke the weeds out of existence ! You only need play the flame over the leaves until they wilt a little... rupturing the cell walls.
Over the next few days the leaves die back, and either dry out or you can burn them away... this may take several passes before the weed is "dead" but it's more environmentally friendly than chemicals.
Butane is not environmentally friendly & neither are the cans & flexible tube used in the product.
A quick one off spray of glyphosate does the job in one go but just be careful not to over spray.
Maybe not but as an LPG (Butane/Propane varying proportions) alternative fuel driver it can be considered pretty low impact as the crude oil refining produces a surplus of this fraction (often seen being burnt off on oil rigs.)
I bet as a modern consumer, there are MANY other more wasteful uses of resources.
RonnyG
There is nothing better than a kettle of hot water for killing weeds.

How's the electricity bill? :D
compadre
Wait till you get older. Bending over becomes more problematical.

Cause or effect? Gardening can be an activity with benefits for people as they get older. Standing around burning is not beneficial to your well being. Apart from making you think you're out of a Rambo movie :D

Does this have a magnet/button like google cardboard for selecting items in app?A lot of these vr apps seem to be interactive so the Cheap headsets don't function so well in that area.

Nope, plus the field of view is pretty poor. Okay for just over a fiver though and pretty comfortable IMO.

You would need a Bluetooth controller with it unless you just want to watch videos.

Got the Samsung one free but I suffer with focal distance issues. Objects that become pretty close end up a mess cause I just cant focus on such a short distance (or cant calibrate the device properly). Anyone else experienced this or know of a workaround? Completely ruins the effect when it happens
Not rubbish but with the obvious limitations.

The worst part is how it feels on my nose and there is a lot of light entering, but if you have a huge hooter then you will be fine.
rubbish but keeps the little ones entertained for a while

Everyone.
Buy rechargeables.
Please.
Yes, Ikea have/had slightly more. You can see on the above chart that Ikea beats Duracell for capacity by more than Readycell.
However they all chop and change factory supplier I am sure.
I believe the Ikea branded ones are better capacity/£ (ALKALISK £1.95/10 pack).
Heat added anyway, thanks for sharing!
Graham1979
Cheap and nasty knock off of Eveready which is a cheap and nasty knock off of Duracell. These are £1 in poundland and for a reason.
Same China factory too?
More capacity than Duracell, but really little difference, Duracell not being far behind.

Brexit means a massive price rise, these being £1 not too long back.

I'll answer my own question here.
Replacement brushes are available from usj-online at a bargain £4.99 for a pack of two (inc P&P) paypal accepted.
This is a great deal, many thanks OP. Heat added.
I bought one yesterday and I love it!
Only question is; what happens when i run out of brush heads? I've tried googling "UJS replacement brush heads" but not getting any results. Can I use any sonic replacement brush heads?
terriclarkfan
@eggsarnie Please post back with what you think of it when you've given it a try.
Well after using it for a few days now I love this toothbrush, the clean it gives is amazing !
At first I was using it like a crosshead toothbrush but that didn't clean properly, you kind of have it to use part like a crosshead and part like a normal toothbrush just gentler !, I'm so bloody Impressed for £8 !

When putting price put "0.39" and it'll say 39p rather than "39" for "£39" :)

To avoid confusion let's just all agree on 39000 millipennies, or 39000mP for short.

home bargains logoSaving Money on Everyday Essentials at Home Bargains

Home Bargains began life as Home and Bargains in Liverpool back in the 1970s, but their expansion has become much more dramatic in the past 20 years. In that time, Home Bargains have opened stores all over the UK, where they sell everything from children’s toys to kettles and curtains.

The chain is famous for the cost of their products, which is always among the lowest of any general high street retailer, and they also tend to keep the retail experience as simple as possible. With their one-way system in their high-street stores and their no frills, efficient online store at www.homebargains.co.uk, Home Bargains make it easy to shop for a massive variety of household items.

Where to Purchase Home Bargains Products

Customers can either head to their local Home Bargains store or make a purchase online. To find your nearest outlet, just use the Home Bargains Store Locator tool. Alternatively, start adding items you need to your online shopping basket at homebargains.co.uk and place an online order.

The Home Bargains Product Range

Customers at Home Bargains can choose from a huge range of different product areas. Some of the most popular sections at their online store include:

  • Toys and Games: Including everything from bikes and scooters to puzzles, construction toys, dressing up costumes and soft toys, with options for all ages.
  • Food and confectionary: Features some of the UK’s most popular food brands, with plenty of chocolate and crisp products available to choose from.
  • Drinks: Includes all of the country’s favourite soft drinks and a wide range of alcoholic drinks too.
  • Homeware: Features items for bedrooms, living room, kitchens and children’s rooms, as well as items like mirrors, laundry racks and lighting products.
  • Furniture: Includes tables, chairs, stools, TV stands, bedroom furniture and storage units.
  • Garden: Includes tools to use in your garden as well as garden furniture, barbecues, outdoor heaters and more.
  • Electronics: Features household appliances like hoovers and washing machines, shavers and razors, electric toothbrushes, speakers and mobile phones.
  • Pets: Items to help care for all major pets as well as a selection of foods and toys.
  • Baby & Child: Features baby clothes, cots, bottles and items to help with travelling.
  • Health and Beauty: Includes perfume for men and women, cosmetics, supplements, hair care products, tanning products and family planning products as well.
  • Travel, Sports and Leisure: Includes sports equipment and clothing, luggage, car essentials and fitness accessories.
  • Arts and Crafts: Includes items for painters and budding flower arrangers.

In addition to these major product areas, you can also explore specialist sections for flower arrangements and special occasions like birthdays and marriages. Everything can be broken down by price and brand as well, making it easy to find exactly what you need.
