Nothing is better than a real tree

Actually, nothing is better than a real tree still growing in the ground.

A real tree chopped down and placed indoors may produce allergies or attract insects and pets. It may also shed.

Your preference for a real tree is fine, thats your opinion. Considering the huge amount of artificial trees sold, there are plenty of people that enjoy having an artificial tree and saving money by using the same tree each year.

Yes you are.

Deals are voted hot or cold for their value for money. Your personal dislike of an jtem is neither here nor there. These trees at this time of year are usually a lot more money and £30 is cheaper than others that are similar.

Nothing is better than a real tree

A bit like sex, nothing is better than the real thing but that doesn't stop people pleasuring themselves with toys.

Just because the tree isn't the real thing, doesn't mean it won't be any good. ;)

Just click on the deal link, all the dimensions are there.
It states, 'Width range (max): 120cm' (base). I guess 'Max' might mean variable if for example, you don't hook up the bottom layer of branches it will be a bit narrower, though this tree states that it has hinged branches that might not be detachable.
I don't install the bottom layer on my 'tree' as it makes it too wide, an added benefit is the extra height gained for storing presents under.

PS. 120cm seems to be too wide as the base of a 7ft tree?

You can always bend the branches in against the wall. These are ok but all the snow comes off. Will last a couple of years though

The tree in the picture is not the tree the link takes you to. The one pictured looks a lot more fuller at the bottom, the one the link takes you to looks thinner and taller

Picked one up tonight. Just put it together to check and unfortunately there is a part missing.
The top section of the tree has a square peg at the bottom for connecting to the mid section, the mid section should have an insert, at the top, with a square hole for the top section to fit into.
Mines missing the insert with the square hole so the top section just flops about.
Will have to return it tomorrow, hopefully a bad one in the batch.Just check your trees when you get them to make sure its all there and working, don't wait until December to find out if they are faulty.
Apart from that its a great tree.

Instore it says £60 marked down to £30.
Most of trees instore at Homebase had a range of discounts on them.

Sorry for the confusion I just google imaged the name of the tree and that pic came up! Worth checking out in store as picture on the website definitely doesn't do it justice!

That does look a nice tree. Very different from the one posted. I will wait and see when picking up tomorrow before making a judgement

We have an 8ft one of these. They look really nice but when we first took it out the box. It had a really bad smell to it (think it was the white foam snow). But sorted it with some pine tree smelly sticks.
