Excellent BBQ. Robust and has weathered well over past 2 years. Purpose built tray for lava rocks, cooks up well and burns off the fat drippings so the small drip can underneath rarely needs emptying. Bargain at £99
I had this but got rid gas doesn't cook as nice as charcoal much better taste of a charcoal bbq
bought one second hand last year or the year before for £25 with a tank of gas. best BBQ I have had yet, even better when you swap some of the lava rock with charcoal
ordered!
Got one a couple of weeks ago, does the job well.

Didn't cause a divorce trying to put it together so that's all good too.

Called up Leeds Moor Allerton Homebase. None left in stock. It says minus 15 on their system.
Purchased one of theses from toolstation £10.38
900° and seemingly not on general sale?
Store specific, found in washington and it was £13.98
Like a previous poster has said, I've got one of these. Had it for a year now. Absolute nightmare to open. The catches end up so tight that they feel like they'll snap off before opening. Really annoying.

I think I angered the trolls with my comments!
I've wanted one of these for a while, great price. Reserved until Saturday. So in the meanwhile if those voting it down could explain why I may just cancel? oO
Why the negative votes without explanation? Has anyone actually bought one an had an opinion as a result, or have they found it cheaper elsewhere? Comments welcomed :-)

I just bought a Dyson fan, knocks this cheap fan all.over the place, and yes it was expensive, but looks so good. Envy of the neighbours comes to.mind! Buy British products and support the UK economy, buy Dyson!

Unfortunately, you'll find that the vast, vast majority of the British public cannot afford to spend even close to the cost of the superior Dyson
janlim
Not sure whether i should drive 15 miles return just to get the tower fan. Worry they don't sell it in-store. If online at least i can reserve it.

You can still check stock online http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/eiger-31-inch-slim-tower-fan-400801# . None in stock for me :(

I wouldn't say that they are any more noisy than any other fan in my honest opinion.

Not in stock anywhere near Guildford.
I was trying to think of some really good why are you voting hot, this fan should be keeping you cool pun. But I failed, so have a hot vote from me

We bought our Spa from Homebase, and they matched the price but didn't offer the 10% extra off?? Should we go back and ask for the extra 10%? Would they entertain that? Wouldn't normally but £30 odd back is quite a bit of money.
I'd email customer services first and push them for a result. Easier to go in store with an email instructing them to do the refund. Better than wasting fuel in the car. Can argue in store as a last resort but try the cheapest option first
i emailed them as i had the same and going in tonight with an email from customer services
Hopefully the email from customer services will be all the backup you need. In store cant really backdown if you have a written guarantee from thiers customer services department.

Use the link and view the pictures. Last picture shows the side discharge chute, but no it doesn't say it in the product details.

Since last year Argos is owned by Sainsbury's and Homebase was bought over by Bunnings from Australia so not sure how it can be their own brand when they are two separate companies. Heat added though.

they licenced the name for 8 years back in 2011 so I suspect they split the licence when they spit themselves, Bosch own the actual brand but don't make the actual products. There are many instances where companies split and licences still share,
Jupitor5
This does have side discharge and mulch function

Thanks, no mention of side discharge on product details or reviews!
I purchased the Qualcast 41cm self-propelled lawnmower from Homebase a few weeks ago as a gift. It's works great, just wasn't aware of side discharge & mulching function on some others at the time. Heat added 8)

I just re-did my garden, brought from a turf supplier who delivers free to any CO postcode (Colchester and surrounding areas) works out about £2.50 per metre squared.

Not sure if I can link them here so I won't unless asked, but if you are from the area and looking for turf a quick google should show you who they are.

They can also deliver bulk bag top-soil decorative aggregates etc too, all for very reasonable prices.
No, they where from a local turf supplier.

Ok dropped into Leighton Buzzard store to pick up something.
They have 2 Gorilla at £70.
Guess £20 was a good price.

Would be fairly easy to restrict the turn if you cant drive when loaded.
Built mine this morning the weak point is probably the dumper hinge point.
Like the way the blister pack all bolts in order of build. Judging from reviews going back a few years they have fixed some of the flaws on this product.
Thank you, I was considering driving over to Leighton to see if they had any at £20, you've saved me a trip. I'll have a look in Luton if I get the chance.
Could give them a call and see if they will price match.
No carts whatsoever in Luton when I got there yesterday.
Stock check says 2 of the Saxon inked.
Luton's like a bombsite, I'd be surprised if they knew what they had in stock or where to find it, I asked in the garden centre bit but didn't get much joy.

Went to the Luton store last year looking for lighting sound like they are still sorting it out, it was a mess then,
It is too far off my normal routes to bother again unless I know they have something.

I went to Morrisons and they were £2.50 (y)
We have five Acres and found them easy to grow except the one called butterfly but with a little TLC and not to much sun it's now thriving!
They are actually 20-30cm and look really healthy. Some of them are slow growing.

Nice price but a nightmare to look after this young and small

Not sure I'd say they're a nightmare, but I'd certainly recommend buying a larger specimen.
I love my Japanese Maples, but like many others I'm no expert. Larger specimens I've bought certainly have a better shape to those I've grown from small myself.
Noticed that on their website they are advertised at £2.97 so checked in store and although priced up at £3.47 they honoured the online price, hope this helps someone.

Have you phoned your local the range stores to see if they have stock?

Do these require a lot of maintenance to keep water clean, and is the pump noisy? I'm thinking about it firing up in the garden at all hours of the night.

The circulating filter/heater pump is quiet but the air jet pump sounds like a hair dryer and is quite loud!
As for maintaince from what I've read online I've decided to just use multifunction 20g chlorine tablet in the supplied chemical floater and plan to add another ever 3-5 days (when tablet is nearly dissolved) also clean the filter once a week and replace it every month (12 filters are about £22 on eBay)

Yes water needs to be kept at certain levels with chlorine tablets and you need to dip test everyday. The pumps are noisy but I don't think they are that bad to be honest. Any hot tub is noisy to a certain degree
