£34 inc delivery.
The Sonicrafter is a better made more powerful 350w machine, (the genuinely large oscillation angle compared with other cheap brands really makes a difference) with solid storage case, 2 blades (inc, Bi-metal premium blade) and 26 sanding sheets + pad, longer power lead and decent 3 year warranty from a well known make.
These are an absolute must if you're doing a lot of DIY. I've been renovating a house since last May and I would have been lost without this. Worth every penny
moneyfornothing
I've got one of these and used it for fitting a bathroom. It's not very strong after it replaced a saxton multi tool which was a better performer and worth getting over this. I found the attachments would sometimes rotate.

How can the attachments rotate? they are multi-pinned?? unless you didnt tighten the blade clamp?

Just picked two up - the disposable liners are £1 - so they still haven't got their prices fully right.
But a crackin price - and I'm off to paint a door before casualty
No need to go to hospital just for painting a door.:p

I have just used these brushes recently and to be fair they are not bad for a cheap brush. I had skirting, banister and spindles to do and they done the job well with the added bonus of throwing them in the bin when done.

These are excellent, had mine for three months now
why???
Just a word of caution on these lamps. We bought some, primarily for the colour of the shades, and, after returning the third set, gave up. They all worked fine for a few months. Each time they failed we obviously checked the plugs, fuses and bulbs but couldn't identify the problem. Maybe the Homebase stocking them (Mallard Rd, Bournemouth) had a dodgy batch but I certainly wouldn't buy again, at any price.
"...my first ever post so please be kind..." = instant cold vote! ;)

if everyone was like you there would be no point in posting anything on here because people like you just buy the lot and think sod everyone else
Yes because they would drive round every store, buying up everything. What does the first M stand for? Does it rhyme with boron?
My Kitchen has 4 GU10 light bulbs. If I found 4 cheap Philips Hue bulbs and bought all 4 in my local store but knew another store had 3. Should I buy 2 in my local and go buy the other 2 elsewhere? Don't let the mental strain hurt you.
that is not the point, the point is the original poster said he had found 10 boxes in his store and bought 5,then someone said well if that was me i would have bought all 10,if you cannot see that as being greedy then i cannot help you,by the way your last name is not head is it,if so your first name must be dick
And you know for a fact that person only wanted them all for profit?
I could do with about 20 for various purposes round the house. If I bought 10 does that make me greedy? especially if I only had money for say 5 at normal price?
Wind your neck in. I hate scalpers but at least find real ones first.
hey no probs just buy the whole lot and think of no one else but yourself - as i say the whole worlds i want it all and f you - at least i hope what comes around goes around in your case

I got these, marked on the shelf as 46p so it seems to be a National Deal & the branch should be honoring them as it's also available on their website to do a click & collect reservation.
Just bought a shed load at telford... all gone now.

Thanks...

I know a pro who'll use loads of it. 28 boxes for £12!!

Abu is usually decent quality so great for the cash but having used mini steps such as this where the handle is long enough to be reached when alighting or decending the steps I much prefer them to this silly around the knees height as they are much safer... Still Hot for the product!!

If like me you're a midget then you can still hold onto this whilst on the top step.

I guess it's all about your height from bum to toe. :)

hmm mm. ...Do you only work around Christmas and swap from one town or city to another evert year? ?? ;);):D

I popped in to have a look today and I don't remember all that variety of different types and styles of steps in homebase before. ... the ones that looked like your selection I didn't like at all but they were a different brand, but identical....???? £10 down to £6...the type I like we're black and £40 rofl.... however the aluminium set people are referring to were a very nice indeed in both 2 and 3 step...
many thanks. actually pretty solid, and weighty for the price.
not too steep at that price
good price but should I buy the aluminium one instead of the steel one like this? I've been checking the comments of ppl in amazon and most of them saying we better buy the aluminum one as this thing last forever

My local Bargain Buys has had these for a few months for £10. B n M often has them as well. Not sure if it's national. I have one as a drinks store for cans/bottles etc in the winter and cushion store in summer and one for a log store to save me having to go to garage all the time. Very sturdy, no water ingress. Defo better than Ketter boxes as one piece, although smaller.
Fits perfectly in the back of a modern Fiesta - good boot liner.
Got a few of these the last time they were on offer. Great value for garage storage etc.

Nice deal on these and heat added, but I am thinking of going for something like this instead as it will also top up the insulation, shame the price is nearly 6x more expensive: http://www.diy.com/departments/bq-insulation-board-1220-mm-320-mm123-mm/183180_BQ.prd

Quick word of caution, Wickes & B&Q loft boards use different tongue & groove cuts so aren't compatible. Yes, I learnt that lesson after chopping a couple of boards to size.... oops.

Thanks for the heads-up! I have B&Q in mine and want to add more so I'll stick to them...
Bought some of these a few weeks ago - good value, but inspect the packs before buying - quite a few had slightly damaged boards in the batch I got mine from.

Why would the flooring of your loft get wet though?

Leaks in the roofing or plumbing. Both unlikely, but I have seen both over the years.

homebase logoBuying Cut Price Home Essentials with Homebase Discounts

Founded in 1979, Homebase started out as an offshoot of the Sainsbury’s retail empire but soon gained its independence as a standalone brand. During the 1980s and 90s, the number of Homebase stores gradually grew, with a huge spurt after the firm acquired Texas Homestores. Nowadays, Homebase has over 250 large retail outlets across the UK and sales of almost £1.5 billion.

Where to Buy Homebase Products

There are two easy ways to purchase Homebase products. The first is to pop down to a local Homebase retail store. You can find your local store by visiting the Homebase website and using their store locator. Just enter your location or postcode and you’ll receive directions to the closest store.
