The price is good but you'd be much better off getting a British Hypertension Society approved ARM (not wrist) monitor.

The wrist monitors are difficult to get accurate readings from.

See http://www.bhsoc.org/bp_monitors/automatic_wrist.stm

Edit: Better to get one from this list.... http://www.bhsoc.org/bp_monitors/automatic.stm

Ordered. Hopefully it's good.
Was about to order then seen Crazyp's input and it put me off. No vote

Well done for posting - everyone should be checking their blood pressure periodically, whatever type of machine they have access to.

However, these types are not considered to be very accurate. Much better off with an armcuff model, which is approved - this way you are able to report your readings to your GP and state you are using an approved model; they may then accept these readings as accurate.

Go here for loads of info........

But they are £80 !
Lloyds the Chemists do a cheap cuff monitor - whats the point of a device that gives you false readings and creates anxiety (or gives false assurance). Clinically validated devices can be bought for much less than £80. Here's an approved one for £13.75 - by Omron (market leaders) supplied and sold by Amazon....

......On the bhsoc here....

But they are £80 !
Go for a good arm, not a wrist reader, as it is not worth the saving,
