Homedics Shiatsu Smooth Natural Touch Back Massager with Technogel.

Good massager says reduced from £199, I know they are normally then £31.99 as I paid £60 earlier this year when tracking it on Amazon and this is the cheapest it has ever been.

Good massager and great for xmas present.

had one from John Lewis last year and it went back - pretty uncomfortable and not that effective TBH... wasn't worth the money and definitely not £199

I ordered one too. Any other reviews from hotdeals users?

Sid why was it so bad?
#9
I thought it was ok from all the one's we tried this one seemed one of the best with the gel technology.

It's for my dad who has a bad back and shoulder injury. Hopefully it will help rather than be a waste of money.

The Amazon reviews seem generally good and some go into a fair bit of detail.

it didn't really reach the top of the back for me, and the kneading action seemed to target not quite the right places though it is adjustable.

The lower back bit didn't go low enough. Of course, YMMV.

OOS On many occasions I have ordered when temporarily unavailable at Amazon and the result usually ends up with me cancelling the order because they never restock the item. :(

i have the old version without the technogel and its amazing! gets rid of all the knots and tension in my neck and back muscles. feel like a new woman after ten min. bought mine years ago for 150 pounds, worth every penny and still going strong 5 years later.

I got it today and just gave it a test run, I have to say it does get rid of a fair bit of tension in the back, it says that it has a 2 year warrantee. I am well pleased with it for the price.

Sorry, forgot to check in here. The product definitely looks good quality to me and is quite heavy and bulky, which isn't great for my bad back (the reason it bought it). You'll probably need a chair dedicated for massages where you can fit and leave it, or remove it from the chair after use. I have to say it is an absolute bargain for £30, I wish I had bought another for my brother.

thanks for the reply. I was actully going to buy a massage unit anyways. Thanks to OP I atleast saved £30.

hopefully my inlaws will get it tomorrow

In laws have said they have got it today! Won't be giving them price details as they might consider it an inferior item based on the price. Thanks to OP for posting!

One question bruv.

How much heating comes out of your unit. The unit that my inlaws got is subtle and the heating comes on after 5/6 minutes during a massage session

The heating seems to come on straight away but is is very slight and not really that hot.
