Sales figures are testament enough to Honda's expertise in the creation of successful entry bikes - machines that are easy to own and manage, and instil confidence and pleasure for years on end. Honda's incredibly versatile Naked machines are a huge success among commuters who revel in their sharp looks, sporty performance and deft manoeuvrability in town traffic. The CBF125 is an outstanding combination of the best of all these features.
Developed for learners, commuters and anyone else who is interested in using two-wheels to get around the city, it benefits from the same attention to detail that has been lavished on the larger Honda Naked machines. And where some 125cc motorcycles are developed merely as stepping stones to bigger and better things, or functional but rather ordinary workhorses, the CBF125 was created to be cherished.
Its fuel-injected engine was designed to deliver more power and torque for a pleasurable ride feel that's both satisfying and confidence-building. Its fuel efficiency is unrivalled and, in combination with minimal maintenance, makes running costs incredibly cheap. It operates with the least possible impact on the environment, and easily within EURO-3 emission level stipulations. The chassis is light, responsive and a joy to play with in town traffic. A large and powerful front disc brake provides assured and, again, confidence-building stopping power that adds to its overall feeling of safety and stability. Its styling also sets it well apart from its peers. Sporty, sleek, modern and distinctly European it has a style and character that are unmatched in this class. Comfortable and practical, even two-up, it features a superb build quality and a host of styling and convenience features that will make ownership a long-lasting source of pleasure and pride.
- Compact yet full-featured, sports-inspired styling is drawn from from Honda's larger-displacement Naked and semi-faired motorcycles. - Front end smoothly integrates an attractive half-cowl with a small, tinted windscreen that offers the comfort of wind protection at higher speeds. - Raised handlebars and bridge have a classic Naked appeal and contribute to a comfortable upright riding position that allows a reassuringly clear view of surrounding traffic. - Clear, easy to read instrument panel features a large speedometer and indicator lights, and a highly practical fuel gauge. - Instrument panel is set in a sporty carbon fibre-inspired background pattern that gives it a clean, functional appeal. - Large, brilliant multi-reflector headlights offer brilliant visibility and feature a unique design that accentuates the CBF125's dynamic profile. - Compact fuel tank complements the sleek, muscular lines and features a Wing graphic that gives it an assertively sporty presence and declares the quality of its heritage. - Neat rear profile is sharply aerodynamic and features a specially designed tail-light and indicator array that's unique to this motorcycle. - Wedge-shaped tail-light and bright clear lens indicators with amber bulb indicators offer high visibility as well as eye-catching style. - Specially conceived 17" Mat Axis Grey Metallic alloy wheels feature an elegant swept 6-spoke pattern that amplifies the CBF125's 'real motorcycle' appeal, and have the practical advantages of being both robust and easy to clean. - Front wheel contour is accentuated by a sporty two-tone silver and black fender. - Unique rear hugger offers additional protection for the swingarm. - Attractively sporty-looking split seat offers a feeling of tailor-made comfort to riders and passengers of all proportions. - 792mm seat height provides easy reach to the ground, even for younger or shorter riders, and creates a relaxed and confident ride feel. - Comfortable passenger seat is complemented by a sleek grab rail and folding aluminium footpegs. - Air vents on side of seat accentuate the aerodynamic look as well as directing air flow to prevent heat building up on longer trips. - Colours include: Sports Red, Black and Space Silver Metallic.

Yes with "L" plates but you need to update your CBT every 2 years - did my CBT a few weeks ago - it usually costs about £99

Yamaha CBR125 same price but with 3 years 0% finance or free insurance.

The Honda does look better though IMHO
#13
Also..... where does it state that a CBT is included in the price ??
Even if Doble do include it, a CBT its only £50 to £70. Hardly a dealbreaker when you're buying a brand new bike.
Bike dealers will throw alsorts of extras at you nowadays to get a sale..... certainly loads more than just a CBT that is only worth a few quid.

OK calm down I hear you - I thought it was a good deal so posted it - I didnt insult your mum.

Yeah..... really generous when they want the full list price.
If you pay full list for this bike, and are happy with a freebie that costs way under a £100, then you are a motorcycle salesmans dream.

If you want a good deal on a bike, you rarely see them advertised.
You have to go to a dealer and start haggling.... its the way people have always bought bikes and cars.
No one pays list price nowadays... or if they do they get shed loads of stuff thrown in.

I assume that at under a grand, these are cheap Chinese copies?

Sorry, you'll have to delete the extra "M" at the start or else it censors the link.

I think the general consensus is that although these are cheap you are better off (and safer off) get a decent 2nd hand bike from a reliable manufacturer. Quality control on the Chinese machines is very poor....

I have a motox lessons booked for the 26th of sept on a wee Honda to see how i get on. have no idea what bike etc to go for if I enjoy it or how much I should spend. I have no technical KU if a bike needs work done or if it is problematic.

There is a million different factors involved in what bike to buy.
the only one thing that is certain, is that you never pay the price that is on the bike, or if you do get extras like helmet, clothing, accessories or insurance thrown in. But only accept these sweetners if you would have bought them anyway, if not go for a cash discount.
My personal opinion of 125cc bikes is that you'll get fed up of the abysmally low power really quickly and want something bigger. If you've bought the 125 brand new then expect a huge depreciation on it.... buying secondhand gets you your money back or at least most of it.

how fast does this bike do 0-60?

Its around 11BHP so you would measure the 0 to 60 with a calender.

How much do you weigh?

On a bike this size weight can make a measurable difference.

As to those who dismiss Chinese bikes. I can only speak from personal experience. I bought an enduro type bike last July after not riding for 25 years. The first thing I did was get it checked over by a mechanic, who made one or two simple adjustments. I rode this for 7 months then had 5 lessons on a big bike and now have a Suzuki Bandit after passing my test.

So, it served its purpose. So much so, and it is a fun bike that I'm slightly reluctant to part with it

This is cold, regular price. Tbh if you were buying a bike I'd recommend getting one off ebay, thats where the real deals are. I picked up a honda CG125 for £375 with tax and MOT.
