With the almost identical & UK-available Huawei P9 being just £288 at present, I'm struggling to see what great extra feature this has for £80 more.

its very high price...and that too those vouchers are useful for only few users..so disappointed with this price...
#3
Wow, I didn't expect it to be cheap, but I'm surprised at just how over priced it is.

where is the p9 for 280?

was waiting for this for weeks.... You can shove it for £355 (u get a £15 discount if u register)

Agreed, O2 refresh 192 like new, 211 buy outright or new refresh 288. This is way overpriced. You can get the s7 for 390 in refresh .
#7
Agree with all the comments here. It's a really nice design but should between 250 and 300 I think in all fairness without any gimmicks or vouchers
#8
None of the vouchers are appealing either.

£288 actually as mentioned, with link provided. Can't you see it?

Overpriced like hell. If you compare this price to Honor 7 price, also giving useless vouchers "for free"? Please...

Kirin 950 cpu is very slow compared to snapdragon 820 and Apple cpu. Otherwise good phone.

Not at all. Snapdragon only a bit faster on antutu. Real usage is beating most snapdragon 820 devices.

Snapdragon 820 has better adreno gpu and modem as well. So stronger signal and much better speed while browsing or playing games etc. Huawei phones are always behind due to their rubbish cpu, gpu and modem.

Yes they are very good phones if the price was low. But at similar price to one plus 3, one plus 3 is much better.

huawei think they become apple or something with that price oO

Price in Europe is 400 euro or 400 dollers in the USA after conversation we are paying more. Rip off UK but this could be down to the strength of the current value if the pound also

I have the dual camera honor 6+ and I am happy with it. Battery lasts 2 days as well!. I would not even think of replacing it with a single camera one. There are other features as well that one plus does not have. The phone is very good but not for 360+ (I paid for my honor 6+ around 270 pounds and I don't see an improvement that would justify a 30% price increase)

I completely agree, was looking forward to this phone but the price has put me off

This won't be this price for long, they must have sold about, what? Three yesterday out of the 4,000,000+ people that pre registered. Back to playing the waiting game for the perfect spec to price handset, genuinely thought this was going to be it. But it's a no from me.

Agree with everyone, this is way overpriced. The top price for this should have been something like £275.

I've got the Honor 7 and have no reason to upgrade as it's the best phone I've ever had - I would have considered upgrading if the 8 was sensibly priced but this is just crazy money.

However, as others have noted, this may be 'the future' post Brexit so we might have to get used to this.

Stock estimated in 22 days. Flipping heck lol. Thought it was going to be available for sale yesterday but it was only a pre-order button.
#27
loved my honor 7 initially then the notifications problem & my pedometer kept switching off. I persevered but it's still a nightmare at times. Won't be buying another sadly

I think as everyone has said, I was so looking forward to this, looks amazing inside and out... Ticked all the feature boxes for me and then the price came out. I even watched the launch hoping for a special "first x orders" lunch price or something but the "free" vouchers are dumb as ****. 250-300 and if be sold but they're joking if they think their young person's target audience can afford this outright.

Bear in mind that the USB-C is still only USB2 compliant so no super high speed data transfer. A bit odd if you ask me...

Its more for the reversible connector and the fast charging but I agree

I concur, although the latter can be achieved with microusb (Galaxy S6/7)) anyway but I do believe that USB-C is the future, just wish OEMs would implement it properly!
I'm hoping that Honor will drop the price to match the OP3; there's not a lot between the two justify a rather large mark up.

Personally I feel it should be £300, the OP3 is slightly better on paper. Just wish I had bought the P9 when it was available for under £280 but stupidly I waited for the launch of Honor 8.

Actually, it's worth waiting to see what the new Nexus brings and prices are only going to go down...

If you mean the O2 Refresh deal, it will keep coming back, so pin this page in your browser & check regularly as long as you're willing to wait:
