Officially licensed by Nintendo; Super Smash Bros. themed controller for Wii U; Turbo Functions (3 settings 5,10,20 times/second); Retains same shape, button sizes and colours as GameCube controller for seamless integration with Super Smash Bros gameplay.

It's out of stock but if you buy it at the price then Amazon gives you it at that price, right?

I am right in thinking that just N64 games and Smash Bros support these controllers?

to be honest I'm fairly new to the wii. But I think it just acts like one of these thing http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_Controller

Can this be used with. Ŵii as we don't have the Wii U?

What games is it used for? Sorry if I am being dense!

I've only recently started playing the wii, and even then it's only Mario Kart I really play just now. But it works on the Wii and the Wii U as it plugs into a Wii more and I think it works with most games? I replied to someone earlier saying it's basically like this one http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_Controller

But don't quote me on that :)

I'm very tempted, but am happy with the pro controller. Is there that much of a difference?

I ordered it more as a collectable, got two pro controllers already. :)

Thanks OP. Seems a bonkers price so hopefully they honour it. Was needing a controller to play Smash Bro's with my son - assuming Santa is kind to me this Christmas of course and I get the game...

Heat! Just bought 2, don't care when they come, awesome price!
#13
great just hope they come back in stock at this price

Anything that supports the Wii Classic Controller Pro does. (VC and some games). It doesn't have the analog triggers that the original classic controller has but I don't think there is anything that needs those.

Oh ok, Ill wait till I can play my wii u on Christmas Day and see if I'm happy with the pro controller on smash bros

If its a mistake it seems more likely they'll just take the product down and maybe relist it again, rather than putting any back in stock to sell at this price.
#19
This isn't a good price for a 3rd party controller, even if it's a decent one.
#20
cant believe luigi one £49

yeah, I've honestly no idea what they'll do. I'm gonna feel bad if my first ever submission doesn't end up working out :)

Bought mine from Amazon France for £19 2 weeks ago. Really nice controller. Price keeps going up and down on Amazon. £16 is really cheap.

Not 100% but an Amazon review said it had no rumble function.

£19.99 @ Game with free delivery.

If we being really picky it's not the same controller as it's made by PDP not Hori and has some design and button differences. :)

£19.99 @ Game with free delivery.

The controllers listed @ Game are made by PDP not Hori. According to YouTube comparisons, the PDP ones (Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi designs) feel very cheap compared to both the licensed Hori and official GameCube controllers.

Very good price considering they were originally listed for £23 - shame about the Luigi one being £49

Can you use it for Bayonetta 2?

Essentially, these Hori controllers are classic controller pros redesigned as GameCube controllers. They plug into the Wii remote and can be used for supported games on both the Wii and Wii U.

Bayonetta 2 (and 1) support the classic controller pro, so these will work.

Here's a list of supported games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_that_use_the_Classic_Controller#Wii_U
