Epic award-winning films based on C.S. Foresters classic adventure stories. Set during the 18th century Napoleonic Wars, Horatio Hornblower (Ioan Gruffudd), a young and shy midshipman, rises through the ranks to become an admiral, braving bloody engagements at sea and close quarter encounters with passionate ladies every bit as tenacious as his treacherous foes.
This four disc collection contains all episodes from the series
The Even Chance
The Examination for Lieutenant
The Duchess and the Devil
The Frogs and the Lobsters

Haha yep
excellent price.....I have this set and its good.
I recently just watched them all. LOVE IT. I forgot how awesome the production values were all those years ago.

love the books, nice price, hot!
HMV was selling this set at £14.99 a month ago, when I persuaded SWMBO to get it for my birthday! A good buy then; even better now. I read somewhere that two of the episodes in the set were never shown on TV - not sure if that is true as it would be surprising if they had been made (at great exopense!) but never aired.
all available @ www.youtube.com, free of cost.
On Find-DVD as £5, but all locations sold out - do you think this every was the case?
