Horowitz Horror Collection - 6 Books

# Twist Cottage
# Burnt
# The Phone Goes Dead
# Scared
# The Night Bus
# Killer Camera

Although this collection from bestselling author Anthony Horowitz is seriously spooky, we think these are the kind of stories that will get kids reading without giving them nightmares! Great for dipping into in the run-up to Halloween, this series, aimed at confident readers, focuses on a strange and twisted world. From two boys who run into the living dead while on the night bus home to a camera that kills the people it photographs, this is chilling stuff. Full of suspense and good old-fashioned spine tingles, young adults will really enjoy these sinister and creepy tales from the award-winning author of the Alex Rider books!

These are great - however, it's cheaper to buy them in these collections:
These feature the above stories, plus 12 more!

Or, indeed there is a 'complete' collection:
Unfortunately, this seems to have been 'adapted' for our American friends, replacing words like 'pavement' with 'sidewalk'.
Still, it does form a cheap way of getting all the Horowitz horror stories

Rik - I think the Book People offer has 6 books in the pack. The Amazon price is for one book only (though the last Amazon link is an omnibus with loads of stories in).

Red House are the same company as The Book People, but with free P and P.
The first two links I posted are effectively half (each) of the 'complete' omnibus, each containing several of the shorter stories. If you click 'look inside' of each of them, you'll see that the chapter titles match the individual book titles.
