Just wondering how many people with enough money to own a horse would ever go into Lidl?

Only those that survived the last ski extravanganza ... eclectic is the only word to describe their demographic targetting.

Don't think horses are allowed in Lidl

I have a horse of my own and a small pony for my daughter and we earn their keep by putting in shifts at the livery yard where they live. The ongoing outlay is kept to a minimum this way, and there are an awful lot of people doing it the same way.

I guess 5 horse owners could share the cost of this. Can't really justify buying 5 of them. lol :p

I wish I had a horse lol

Seriously though, please don't mistake having a horse with having lots of money. My wife works an additional part time job to pay for her horse. I bet some people spend more money on fags than we do on the horse :)

Not everyone with a horse/pony has lots of money. Some of us keep them for the kids to ride on a very small budget, cheap rugs, very cheap 30year old trailer, etc.

Makes me green with envy some of the stuff some people have that turn up to shows.

can never get a pony space outside always taken by inconsiderate people with kids and disabled badges

hot not all horse owners are minted ;)

Most of us....we r all normal skint people I NEVER go out NEVER buy lunch, packed lunch always. Buy second hand clothes so I can have a horse and loads of people I know do exactly the same. That is why Lidl and Aldi do horse and riding gear cause THEY KNOW we all shop there! So do most of the farmers I know actually - the poor sods getting 19p per litre of milk produced and for that they r up at 4am daily and working till 6pm if not later! I live in a damp terraced house, FFS steryotype .... last holiday 1999!!!!!!!!! Most can't aford horses so they make huge sacrifices so they can afford a horse.
