I think this is quite a nice priced deal with 3yrs warranty too, you can have this in a lesser form for £329 but I have upgraded the CPU, hard drive and Screen to get the free delivery to kick in giving you £60 worth of upgrades for free.

This is an old forgotten? ecode from April so I really dont know how long it will last once they start to see orders coming through on it, bear in mind its on Small Business so use your own name and put home when asked where its to be used.

#3
its a good steal! :)

As long as you dont intend Gaming other than easy on the graphics types then with 3yrs warranty this is a bargain imo

Cheers Michael  got a m8 wanting one of these and gave me a price of £550 to gelt below. Damm that extended life battery is overpriced.. Cheaper to buy a second battery.

Great price

so for an extra £80 compared with other one is it much better getting this one?

A contender for the 1510!

Very nice. Cam, bluetooth, almost twice more capacity and a faster processor to boot.

It's almost a no brainer. Especially if you can get it in different colours! (can you?)

Vista premium as well!

Yes, this is good.
[mod]#13
You can have it for £323.10 with the basic config and add Logitech MX3200 Cordless Keyboard and Laser Mouse - Leading edge design, one-touch media controls plus Logitech V220 Cordless Notebook Mouse - Ergonomic design, soft rubber grips & snap-on mini-receiver

That does look nice,i just bought a 1525 via outlet on Ebay.

I want to put Bluetooth into my laptop.

Does anybody know which bluetooth is best for these ?,a Dell bluetooth 355 or 360 ?
#16
You can get the same deal on the Dell Home website, except they don't offer free delivery there. It seems that you can copy any code from the Home into the Business website and take advantage of the Business discounts...
#17
Right......I have gone for it £369 and - £15 Quidco
This for me is a better deal than the Vostro 1510 (and that is a good deal)

MikeT ...I hate you and love your deals

Totally free at a wifi Hotspot

At home you would need a modem/wireless setup.

If you have a broadband connection & router/modem at home, you will be able to use the existing setup. Just need configuring.

OMG! This BLOWS the 1510 deal totally! The PROCESSOR speed is a steal for the price!!!!!!
#25
Now if you could just upgrade the graphics card I would have had one....

Actually I think the vostro deal offered a more versitile computer, kind of wish I got one now.

isnt it better to have the standard screen which deducts £17.02 and choose 3072 memory anyone help in process of ordering!
#29
Can't get that price for some reason..
I do through to checkout and it gives me £528.01after taking £60 off delivery?!

personally, I would choose adding RAM over the larger hard drive... since they don't give the option of putting the standard 2048 in one slot, to upgrade to 3072 yourself you'd have to buy a 2048 stick rather than a 1024 stick, if you see what I mean...

Is this system compatible for adding a dedicated graphics card? Bit confused...because that option is not available when I try to customise.

no i dont get you!

i would still have the 250gb hard drive but instead of having the other screen reduce it down which deducts £17.02 and then add the 3072 memory which adds £17.02 making it still £369.01 is this a better option?
[mod]#35
Depends on if you want a 1440x900 screen with truelife, you cant easily change that once you have it, but you can upgrade the ram should you wish to.

yeah, i'd do that - go for the 3gb ram & 250gig hd, sod the screen especially if you're going to use it in a docking station like i am
#37
The answer is add the extra 1GB on top of MikeT price..still an excellent deal
#38
Personally I'm gonna wait for the next good Vostro deals, mainly because I don't want an integrated graphics card.

Not bothered with gaming, however would like to use Adobe CS3 - any idea how this would cope? Found the following review which looks promising
