Time to rewatch 'em all! Thanks. 8)
Great films, even some of 3 is excellent! Of note on this set the transfer on the first film is very soft - likely ported from Laserdisc. Still, can't argue for a few quid. Heat!
Never seen, ordered thanks

If I get one of these codes, and then sell the code on eBay will the world end?

It won't work for anyone else.
If I get one of these codes, and then sell the code on eBay will the world end?
I got one for £10 off £20 on an old account last month.

Obviously the main one that I use all the time gets nothing.

Edit: This prompted me to check another old account.

GBP 20.00 off your purchase of GBP 40.00 or more.Redemption code: MROUxxxxxxWTBM Expired 24/06/17

Hot for those that get them. I never seem to get these, probably because I'm always buying something or other so they don't have any need to incentivise me (annoyed)
If anyone gets one that they don't want please could you consider pming it to me as I could definitely use a discount on eBay for a change. Be happy to send over a bunch of (steam) games in return.
I'd bet they're aimed at people who have spent more than £20 on ebay fees through other purchases.
Sorry guys, where would this be if I did have it?

I figure as I bought it for £20 on my PlayStation Account (and don't have PSVR now) I'd try it, Gamezville look like they are reputable from the history and probably benefit from being from a country in the EU, so don't have to subsidise North Ireland lol.
ebay, g2a, whatever... if you're happy with one you should be happy with either. cheap games on either are 90% likely to be keys bought somewhere with dodgy credit cards.

If you want to support the devs, buy from a legit source. if you just want another game in your steam collection without buying full price, then buy from these.

also, imo the game is about worth £6 in the first place. its about an hours worth of playing around. its pretty good but little to no replay value unless you're showing off your vive to people.

The WiFi bit about these...does it mean I can control it from a mobile phone that can connect to the internet? Not using 3G stuff?
It connects to WiFi. So, if your mobile can act as a WiFi hotspot I suppose you can connect the camera to your mobile that way. There is no viewing screen on the back, but I believe there is a small menu screen on top, which must include connection option, eg network password.
Thanks but I have no idea if my mobile can act as a wifi hotspot. My first GOOG got this from PCMag
"Almost any modern smartphone can also work as a Wi-Fi hotspot, sharing its 4G LTE connection to anywhere from five to 10 devices, whether they be laptops, tablets, or other phones. You just have to have the right service plan and tap a few buttons".
So looks like it is 4G :( I have a PAYG phone and only use about £20 a year. Not any fast network stuff I don't think.
The camera works as a hotspot, not your phone. The camera presents a wifi network that your phone can join to transfer data wirelessly or to view what the camera is seeing in real time. Your phone will remain connected to 3G/4G during this but obviously not any other wifi network
OK so your saying the 3G/4G is something different than the wifi connection that will be between the camera and mobile (android) phone? Basically, I wouldn't be paying (with my PAYG) for the data between the Action Cam and Mobile Phone? Yes I know nothing much about these things.

Wow seems a good price.
Really want 1 with a screen to see what i'm recording though.
Anybody got a link to similar but with a screen? Obviously know it'll be more money but would like any recommendations please.
Cheers.
I've just received one from Tomtop which was in here a few weeks ago.
When you register on the site they give you 200 points which you can use agains any purchases.
I only ended up paying $25.79 (just over £20)
It's 4k & has a 2" screen.

An also you have OpenOffice for free...

How much storage does that include?

You're missing the point. People already have cloud storage, likely paid for through other services. It's inclusive.Genuine question : Who is going to fully use an allowance of 5TB for "home office" work?If you're looking for a files solution then why not opt for many free services?MegaPcloudMediafireDropboxBoxFlipdriveGoogle DriveOnedrive (as above but only 5GB)or opt for Remote Desktop software. They may be limited to 10 - 50 GB per account but I can't ever recall any of my Home file lengths exceeding that amount and I deal with some pretty hefty data files...
Don't assume everyone has/had cloud storage.
When I looked to offsite my 4ish TB of content (mainly RAW photos) to the cloud last year, I couldn't find any provider offering over 1TB storage at a price that wasn't insane.
For that reason, I stacked these Home Premium 365 bundles, and upped my data spread over a few 1TB OneDrive accounts. The result? 5TB of cloud storage, for roughly £40 a year. Excluding Amazons unlimited option, which is £60/yr and wasn't available when I offloaded, who else can serve up 5TB of storage for under 50 quid? (Genuine question).
The fact I got Office 'included' in my cloud storage is by the by. Ive never used it/installed it.

Where is my assumption of writing "everyone has/had cloud storage", I wrote "many of us already have".

The question I asked was "...for "home office" work?", given this is a product (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Onenote, Outlook) where the files lengths are relatively small and not comparable to (adult) film / photo storage. Technically, I suppose that RAW photography work and subsequent editing (in packages not on offer) could get storage intensive. But of course, you're not actually referring to Office itself (being the point of the deal) but inclusive addition of storage, which in itself is a deal but how people actually need that? It works for you and that's great.

Whilst I agree that this is a good price for either Office 365 or the storage (even as separate entities), there's still nothing in the listing that says that I've got to buy this because, as already mentioned, the functionality is either already given by alternative software like Open Office or storage services already paid for through other interests or register multiple accounts at those free providers with the greatest allowance. Personally, I would never trust precious data with a third party: pay twice the amount, have a physical copy and store it offsite yourself...oh, and have a back-up of that back-up too.

You can also get a very good pair of plates from Amazon for £12 inc del. I've bought at least 3 sets from here in the past.
£12 is the normal price so should confirm that £6.98 for one plate, as shown on this deal, is not a special price.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00TBCKKK8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1498288664&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=number+plates&dpPl=1&dpID=41VYuJSt%2BcL&ref=plSrch

Forgetting about the quality of this deal for a minute, posting 2 probably costs no more than posting one, so although this is 98p more per plate, thats probably postage.

2. The price isn't brilliant. My local main VW dealer only charges £8 and throws in fixings for that price too.
Really? Halfords want £17.99 for one plate. £8 from a main dealer is very good.
I know. I was surprised also as I expected Halfords and other motor factors to be the best for price so never tried the main dealer before.

Edit - Actually my memory failed me slightly. I've just checked my statement and it was actually £9.84. Still a good price.

1. As others have said, this is not legal. You are not allowed to supply number plates for road vehicles without viewing your V5C, suitable ID and recording proof of doing so.
2. The price isn't brilliant. My local main VW dealer only charges £8 and throws in fixings for that price too.
3. A friend of mine once bought a plate from ebay and it took 3 attempts for them to provide one that wasn't defective. I know the same can happen where-ever you buy them, but at least you can inspect them immediately when made locally.
How on earth did this get hot?!
I very much doubt anyone living in the world will believe that VW will sell plates for 8 pound ,not a chance maybe the plastic nut and bolt .
I've used the show plate sellers and never had car stopped or mot failure.
Police should be more interested stopping illegal front tints

Phone Robinsons of Norwich then. You'll see.

OK read the 'other' thread and this may be old stock that can't always hold charge. Not buying. *phew*.
I bought one the other day, I've been giving it a chance but the charge will not stay above one days reserve. I bought it thinking it would get up to six months reserve, as is the specification, and I could wear it occasionally, but alas no. I'll send it back. Shame, it's a nice watch. I'll just have to stick to my SKX007 automatic every day.
They say the stoopid question is the one you don't ask, so here goes... Does it state anywhere how long you have to wear it for before it achieves full charge? The reason I'm asking is that if it's been sat dormant on a shelf then won't it need plenty of movement to start off with to help it achieve and hold full charge?

I've had Seiko Kinetics before and not had this problem, can't think of anything I was doing with my left wrist to keep it wound that most other men don't.

Looked too good to be true, from the john lewis and amazon reviews these appear hit and miss and tend to give up after a while.
Maybe they were not fit for purpose or mass production so they are quickly selling them off dirt cheap to cover their losses. Shame since it had a timer feature and looked the business.http://www.camelcamelcamel.fr/uk/charts/B01BHUSDZK/amazon.png?force=1&zero=0&w=725&h=440&desired=false&legend=1&ilt=1&tp=all&fo=0&lang=en

Yeah I also checked out the reviews and decided not take the jump

Looks like an amazing price at first but after looking at reviews on John Lewis etc. it seems to have a major defect, constantly switching itself off along with an alarm to say it has fallen over when it hasn't.

Those anti-trip switches are a pain. My otherwise perfect working DeLonghi heater (though not the one featured) is useless because it thinks its fallen over when it hasn't.

Not for me, I'm buying a Duke.

These are excellent for small children.I got one for my son who was 4 at the time. With his tiny hands, he really struggles to hold the pad and use all the buttons at once on a standard controller. With this though, he has his own little controller, and can play all sorts of games without having to reach around for buttons.I'd highly recommend it.

My son is 4 soon, wanting to get this for him
Thanks, can't complain for £15

The link to the thread someone else posted contains a code for £8 off.The large strap is huge. I'm 6 foot 2 and an athletic build and I was only on the early settings, whereas I've now got a small strap, and alright, I'm on the second to last setting, but it means there isn't lots of spare strap, and the size S one is also narrower.I picked up the music one from a previous deal but it's a seriously good bit of kit. I've used mine for the Blaydon Race, various park runs and a fair bit of commuting to work on the bike.Lasts about 4 days on a charge with a 20 mile commute on the bike, 5k run and general day to day wearing.
Charging every 4 days doesn't seem too bad

To be honest when I'm having a lazy week it is 7 days!

It says in the description typical use gives quarter of a day for battery?
About 4 days with GPS being used, but without gps being used (you activate GPS when you select your activity) it says lasted around 7 days

Just because it says CE certified doesn't mean it's safe. AFAIK CE is self-certified and obviously faked all the time anyway

Do yourself a favour and buy the steelseries siberia 800 's . I have had Three pairs of astros, sound quality is great from both but on the siberia you get 2 batteries (You can swap) and theres no issues, also the spare battery is always charging inside the hub. The astros are just so cheaply made and badly designed. Siberias are just so amazing and thought out with the gamer in mind, no going back for me.
Strange, many people find astros well made and well designed.
You believe they're not thought out with the gamer in mind??
The way I see, Astros aren't "worth" the money, but that's when they're priced up at £250. For around the £100 mark these probably are one of the better wireless headphones that work across everything.

Looks good - wish I could warrant spending this much on another headset! Are these comfortable? As a glasses wearer its like gold dust finding something that can stand up to a 6+ hour game session without being migraine inducing X)
I wear glasses and I've used astro a40s (which I believe is the same headset in structure) since the days of Black Ops 1
I find them extremely comfortable and wish I'd paid the extra and bought them sooner instead of wasting money on cheaper headsets, Tritton and Turtle beach.
I just wish my G930s were xbox compatible, a good headset does really make all the difference sometimes. I have a decent set of speakers hooked up, but when you're using chat they're less than ideal.
These are the older gen , good price though I have the gen3 with the base station and had no issues and in party chat the mic is superb I recommend spending a little extra, also they have just released a budget headset which has the workings of an a40 for about £55 from astros site, worth looking at...

ebay logoeBay’s History and Progression

Pierre Omidyar founded eBay in 1995. Within two years of its launch eBay had already grown to host over two million auctions, when its success drew millions in venture capital to cope with the increasing customer demand, employee base and millions in revenue. Thanks to eBay, it took Omidyar just three years to become a billionaire after the company was listed on the stock market in 1998.

Taking full advantage of acquisitions iBazar and PayPal in 2002, eBay was able to control even more auctions around the world and increase revenues by managing most payments made through the site itself, rather than spending company time dealing with cheques clearing through the banking system. Fast forward to today and eBay employees number in the thousands, users in the millions, and revenues in the billions.

How eBay Works

Sellers on eBay range from the casual private user to the niche eBay store owner and professional retailer, dealing in large quantities of regularly stocked items. Items are listed as an auction, with the option to add a hidden reserve price that must be reached before the item is sold, and/or the Buy it Now-option, which displays the price the seller will accept for the item to the first buyer willing to match that price.

Feedback is gold on eBay, with sellers doing all they can to attract five star ratings and maintain buyers’ trust. Plus, the blue and yellow ribbons you can see on some listings on www.eBay.co.uk indicate that the seller of that item will allocate a certain amount of the final selling price to go to the charity of their choice.

eBay Categories

Today, eBay hosts auctions within categories on its site at ebay.co.uk such as:

  • Collectables – Once all the rage on eBay when it first started, this category is still a mecca for antique dealers, stamp collectors, and fans of other rare items.
  • Electronics – Brand new, refurbished, and second hand laptops, tablets, computers, TVs, phones, cameras, video games, and games consoles.
  • Jewellery and Beauty – Not only does this category list stunning new and vintage jewellery, but also box sets to begin making and selling your own individual pieces.
  • Motors – The place to sell or buy used and classic cars, motorbikes, boats, and automotive parts and accessories.
  • Fashion – A huge collection of new and second hand clothing for men, women, and children; all with lots of filter options to find your size, style, and favourite brand.
  • Pre-Owned Picks – A special category where eBay will collect a constantly-updating selection of second hand goods they believe are worth taking a look at.

Endless Product Range at Ebay.co.uk

Top brands available from the categories above include:

Deals on famous brands change every day on eBay, depending on the items advertised by sellers. This means that you’ll be able to find your favourite brands from heaps of different sources, all competing to offer you the best price.

Bagging a Bargain at ebay.co.uk

There are countless discounts and opportunities to save your hard earned cash on eBay. For example there is the Deals & Special Offers section where you can find daily deals or discounts in different categories like electronics, fashion as well as home & garden. Similarly, if you click on Sales & Events or Multibuy Offers from the menu, you will see trending deals currently on offer on eBay. eBay will search and note popular listings before placing them on these sales pages. Additionally, the displayed deals will change depending on your purchase and search histories as well as the available deals on that particular day or even time of day.

ebay wow offer deal

You can also sign up for a Deals & Events Newsletter on the website to ensure you don‘t miss out on a worthwhile bargain. Furthermore, eBay is a very active participant of the annual shopping event Black Friday and Cyber Monday at the end of November.

eBay Auctions and Payment Terms

In order to participate in an auction, you will be asked to sign in or register for an eBay account, which verifies your identity and preferred payment method before you can bid on items. If however, you wish to purchase Buy It Now items on eBay, you may use pay as a guest, with the option to register for an account afterwards at the checkout.

Items sold on eBay.co.uk have to offer PayPal as a payment option. This is the preferred choice for buyers thanks to its ease of use and speed. Buyers without a PayPal account will also be guided through the process to pay using their credit or debit card. Other payments methods allowed on the site include bank transfers, cheques, cash from a local pick up, and postal orders.

eBay Seller’s Shipping Policies

Shipping depends entirely on the seller. Both private and professional sellers must input their own delivery information and set their prices for postage and packing. Some of them are free of charge, some include shipping within the total price to make things easier for the buyer, while others will set the shipping costs by location, insurance level, and/or estimated delivery date. What’s more, if you’re buying more than one item from an eBay store, it may be possible to request delivery in a single shipment to reduce delivery costs.

Returns Policy from eBay Sellers

With regards to customer returns, the seller may determine his/her own return policy.  In most cases, you will be able to return a faulty item or one that is not as described in the listing. Follow these steps to return an item:

  1. Sign in to “My eBay“ and click the link “Return this item“ from the drop-down menu next to the item in the Purchase History section.
  2. Select your reason for returning the item and add photos if necessary.
  3. eBay will create a returns label and address for you to include on the returns package, which must be sent within 5 working days. You can track the status of your returned package in My eBay. Note that you will have to pay any return shipping costs yourself unless the seller states otherwise or the item is not as described in the listing.
  4. After receiving the returned item, the seller then has 6 working days to refund your account.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee protects you in any situation where the seller won’t accept the return of a faulty good or misrepresented item. As long as you contact the seller within 14 days then you qualify for the return under this eBay policy.

How to Return an Item to eBay

eBay on Social Media

With such a massive user base and available marketing budget, it would be peculiar if eBay did not have a large presence on social media sites:

eBay also provides a forum board on their website for their vast community. The eBay for Business blog is the place for eBay sellers to read success stories, get tips on how to sell and make their eBay business grow, as well as find tools to make the selling process easier.

The eBay iOS and Android App

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, an Android smartphone or tablet, the eBay app is great for buying and selling on the move. It’s designed specifically for use on a mobile device to make bidding and managing items easier. For instance, you can scan the barcode of the product you want to sell, which will be picked up by the app and used to complete the majority of the product description for you.

eBay Customer Support

eBay’s Customer Service section at ebay.co.uk walks you through the process of finding an answer to your questions by narrowing down the options after each step, within the topic of your query. If you’re still not happy with the final answer, you can call eBay during normal business hours from Monday to Friday between 8am and 10pm and weekends from 9am to 6pm. The phone number and a unique, one-off passcode are given to you when you select the call option. They also have live web chat options for select questions.

The eBay page on HotUKDeals will keep you up to date about the latest and best deals on eBay.
