Hot Fuzz is the action-packed new comedy from the makers of the hit movie 'Shaun of the Dead'.

Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is the finest police officer London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford.

With garden fetes and neighbourhood watch meetings replacing the action of the city, Angel struggles to adapt to his situation and finds himself partnered with Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), an oafish will well meaning young Constable. Just as all seems lost, a series of grisly accidents motivates Angel into action. Convinced of foul play, Angel realises that Sandford may not beas idyllic as it seems. With his faithful new partner in tow, Angel fights to prove his instincts are correct and unconver the truth about Sandford. Is Angel simply losing his mind in the safest, sweetest village in Britain? Or is something far more sinister at work? A small village is about the get some big city justice.

Written by Pegg and director Edgar Wright, Hot fuzz reteams Pegg and Frost alongside a killer cast. In addition to Oscar winner Jim Broadbent, the stellar lineup of talent includes Paddy Considine, Steve Coogan Timothy Dalton, Martin Freeman, Paul Freeman, Bill Nighy, Anne Reid, Billie Whitelaw, Stuart Wilson, Edward Woodward and plenty of surprises!

Rubbish film:w00t:

Brilliant movie, though not as good as Shaun of the Dead. Definately worth the cost of the DVD though.
#5
Weird, I can't figure out why this has been voted cold. It's the best price online and a great movie for any Spaced & Shaun of the Dead fans.
#6
Probably as this will cost half that much in a few months, I would never pay over £10 given the constant reductions, sales, promotions.

Hence my cold vote.
Great movie tho!
#7
Yeah, it'll be cheaper within weeks. Depends if you want to wait. A lot of places are around the £13 mark, so might be worth seeing what codes there are, higher Quidco etc.

Amazon have got a limited edition with postcards, and HMV and Virgin have got their own limited different covers, but the latter two are £16 a pop.

EDIT: Hang on, it's £12.69 at PowerPlay anyway, not £12.44!

the 12.44 might be with quidco added?

Greatest movie ever. Far better than SOTD which had fewer amazingly funny moments and pretty much no story line...
#12
£12.69 - 2% attached coupon = £12.44
£12.44 - 4% quicdo = £11.82
