Hot Fuzz - Gala Event - 4th Feb 2007

Just thought I'd post this for anyone who didn't manage to get the free preview screenings.

Went on-line to the VUE cinema website and found that my local vue (Worcester) is having a gala event for the film 10 days before general release.

It looks like tickets are £10. You also get a free Shaun of the Dead DVD and Hot Fuzz poster. So pretty good all in all! I am not sure how many other VUE cinemas are doing this, but can definitely vouch that Worcester is. Worth a look I'd say!

Damn, I was gonna post a message about this, but I'm too slow.

I got a leaflet with my latest rental from Lovefilm promoting these preview screenings.

I'm looking forward to the film, I love Shaun of the Dead and the trailer for Hot Fuzz looks brilliant.

Will there be many people who'd want to see this early who wouldn't already havew the SOTD DVD? I suppose some of them may have worn out the DVD by now.

Hope HF is as good as SOTD!

How's that for a slice of fried gold? :giggle:

Shame I'm several light years from the event...oh well I'm looking forward to the movie and hope it lives up to the hype. SOTD and Spaced are just some of my fav funniest comedies ever! ;-) :-D

forgive me, but 15 quid a ticket?

is this because of the preview of a yet to be released film?

15 notes can get you a few good dvds in the smiths sale...

well cinema ticket would be £6+ usually, DVD let's say £6 again, free drink and popcorn = £4 and it's early so just about worth it if you want to go.

Did anyone have this problem when trying to order tickets?

After entering card details it just says, your details are with the cinema....no booking number or email confirmation??

Is this right??
#13
no
You should get a booking number
#14
really??

Weird, it didnt give me any number or anywhere to enter an email address. Looks like I'll be giving them a call later then!
