Got 80 rolls of cushelle in........dare I type it...........Costco yesterday for £20.86.

Well that was daft..... Still ask myself why I have a Costco card. 99.9% stuff is more expensvie in Costco than a normal shop. Previously said it was because of warranty on electronics but better to go to M&S on sale... or Amazon with added after sales pack.

Simply ****.

Below firmware 4.3e, all of the tools are available online without needing a game.
For firmware 4.3e, you need either Lego Indiana Jones, or Lego Batman.

I've been watching the Lego Indiana Jones prices on Ebay and it would appear the **** has fallen out of the market recently!!
I thought maybe there was a hack now that didn't require the game anymore but from what you're saying that's not the case! (It's not that long ago that most Lego Indiana Jones games were going for upwards of £40 on there!)

I think that's because it can also be done with Lego Batman now, which can be picked up pretty cheap.

Absolute bargain. I still have to complete Wind Waker lol.
FunkyMonkeyDooDa
I actually tried to sell this TO asda the other day when I was having an almighty games clear-out. Started this game when it first came out. Got side tracked and only completed it years later (last month actually). Loved it to bits and definitely up there with Link to the Past and Ocarina in my view. Despite this, I knew I would never play it again.

Thing was, I was only going to get £2 trade in and then the cheeky funsters at ASDA were going to charge me £1 to remove the -slightest- of scratches. So, upshot is I still have it - will be trading it in somewhere else for more cash as £1 for one of wii finest moments is an insult.

Looking at it from the other direction however, if you can get it for a fiver for goodness
sakes do! It is utterly brilliant and is classic ninty at their best!
Duelling Duck
Still reckon this is better than anything on the 360.

As a poor student I lived on Asda, Tesco and Morrissons own brand foods. These cheap pasta and sauces are great for cooking as a household. Even if the sauce its self has little/no nutritional value it makes a great base for adding meat and veg to make a quick and cheap meal.

Unfortunately, semi-synthetic is a misnomer until they tighten up the regulations - they don't have to specify how much synthetic there is in there.

However, if this meets the spec for your engine, it'll be fine as long as you follow the change intervals.
neilcaldwell
I guess on the 1 hand it's one of the cheaper brands, but Hey It is Semi Synthetic oil so can't be that bad. To be honest if I saw this I would pick up a can for the missus's Almera. Semi Synthetic is quite good oil.

Once upon a time there was just mutigrade oil, now there's so many ruddy types you really do need to check the specs for your car.
willdashwood
Certainly good enough for my old MX-5.

@weiran Are you saying it's OK to use in an RX-8 or that Mazda officially recommends this oil? I know they are possibly the most fussy engines in terms of what oil they use and they drink the stuff too. Would be a fantastic deal for anyone with a rotary engine to stock up on if true.

How does this compare to frozen rice which you can get for a quid for 4 sachets weight roughly 800g?
4x200g
How many similar sized portions would you get?

5 x 200g = 1kg - so you'd get 5 portions of 200g from this bag.

I normally buy large sacks of rice from an Asian supermarket which works out better £ to kg but nevertheless it's a brilliant deal for those who don't need to buy rice in large quantities, heat added

Yes, but the Poundland deal is for 3 x SMALL tins for a pound. The people on that thread didn't seem to understand that the Poundland deal worked out at the equivalent of 77p for a full size tin.... This ASDA deal is 50p for a full size tin, which is a lot cheaper than Poundland.

Are people so untrusting that we need to post receipts to prove that 6 cans of tuna can be bough for £3? Honestly, what is this site coming to?

Yep, for some reason people think that deals get made up on here and want proof. Idiotic, I know.

One of Britain's best known food companies is selling endangered tuna - despite boasting that it doesn't trade in threatened fish.
Princes, the UK's biggest seller of canned fish, has admitted to using bigeye tuna, a vulnerable species which appears on the international 'red list' of wildlife at risk of extinction.
Princes, which is owned by the Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation, sells more tinned tuna in Britain than any other company with 37 per cent of the market.
Most of their tuna is skipjack, the least threatened type of tuna. However, the company's website reveals it also uses 'a small quantity of bigeye tuna from the Indian Ocean'.
Bigeye is on the Red List of threatened wildlife compiled by the International Union for Conservation of Nature where it is rated 'vulnerable' and 'at high risk of extinction'.
