I just don't know how these guys and Dominos get business..... £10 is a good deal for a bit of dough and some toppings???? The profit margins must be HUGE for these companies....
There are costs associated with running a business.
Packaging, Staff Wages, Power, Rent, Rates, to name some of the more obvious ones.
Lol..... Are you having a laugh??? They are making a killing off mugs like you
"Pizza delivery firms are cashing in with a price mark-up of up to 900%, industry insiders have revealed"
I think I'll stick to my local take away, who makes the dough fresh every day, not made in a factory, they also use fresh toppings and its half the price.... They also have "Packaging, Staff Wages, Power, Rent, Rates, to name some of the more obvious ones" to pay.
http://www.pizzahutfranchise.co.uk/franchise-opportunities/
Plenty of franchise opportunities for you to cash in on that 900%.

Don't get me wrong, I would more than happy take peoples money if they are daft enough to pay it X)

Just can't believe we are living in a generation that people are saying they are skint and watching their money, but think that £10 for a bit of dough and a few toppings is a hot deal oO

I tend to not take any notice of people who slate a franchise that is allegedly raking it in but don't actually want to own one. Those people are either lying or idiots.

I don't follow.... I said I DID want to own one, and there is no "allegedly" about it, it is common knowledge how much profit they make, doesn't take a genius to work it out... Who is the idiot?

Pizza Hut is so far removed from real Italian pizza with hot dog crusts and sloppy bases. If you want a slice of Italy then dominos is so much better and more authentic.

to be honest with you no big franchises like papa johns dominos or pizza hut are authentic i travelled to naples italy to try the real deal and all i can say is there completley different
places like zizzi and a local italian restaurants in town hidden in the back streets were about 50% authentic where as the others like pizza hut domino papjohn etc were 5% authentic
If you want great pizza with fresh ingredients and any toppings of your choice, just learn to make your own !
It's so easy and quick.. Make up batch of dough and freeze it in balls.
The sauce is also easy peasy then the mixed Italian herbs either dry or better fresh.
Ok so it's not instant and there's few ingredients to have in your cupboard but once u got some in the freezer just defrost it for couple of hours and make your own.. I use 3/4 lager and 1/4 warm water for the dough. Delicious !
Go try it you'll amaze yourself !
Sorry for long post :-(

I eat out in restaurants quite a bit, because I don't waste money on overpriced pizzas.
so you come into a Pizza thread just let people know that.
It was clearly a reply to your question. It's even in the quote chain if you look really hard.

Pretty sure that's just the same deal with the £5 pound added for the medium pizza in the poster. If you look at the terms and conditions the £19 deal also has the same end date of the 21st of February, it is not always around like you presume.

Might expire on the 21st but it's been on the website for well over a month as i ordered for the family a few weeks back. My point being it's not really a valentines deal when it has been availiable atleast a month.

ASDA make as you want pizzas are a much better deal than any of these rip off pizza prices that go up and down like yo yo's.
True you have to bake them yourself but they are much better value and you can see what is being put on as a topping.
BOGOFF offers are all made up mainly because of fictitious prices and if the fictitious prices actually were real then it shows exactly how much you have been getting ripped off by when you pay full price as NO company can trade for long if they give stuff away.
Just look at SOFA prices and such like to see how UNREAL and DISHONEST pricing is in this country.
Couldn't agree more. 2 x 10" pizzas with 4 toppings each for £4 at my local Asda. Very tasty and excellent value.
Deal now broken?
How much do you need to have in the QuidCo account before you can cash out? Made a mistake of accepting a deal on some site I Love Cashback. Got 10 pounds in it.. won't let me cash out. Need 20!

Can't ever see it happening X)

People like pizza bases because they can put more on the base than you'd get from any pizza outlet! In the long run can work out more expensive but exactly to your individual taste!

nice unbiased view, I like it
PizzaJohnzz2
srp111
still expensive for a pizza
I agree.
You can get cheaper supermarket pizzas or better yet make your own! (Latter usually tasting much better.)
(Haven't tried all kinds of sauce but I do seem to favour Ragu, Dolmio and Sainsburys over some other slightly
blander sauces.)
But it's still a pretty good deal considering these pizzas are usually hella expensive,
it's large (don't know how large but it states it's large)
and and hot and fresh and probably is on par with home made pizzas (and above most supermarket pizzas
that often taste like bread and cheese....weak sauce, literally. xD)

So yeah, why you people bashing this person....it's true.
£5 is technically still expensive for a pizza.
But for this type, it's a pretty acceptable purchase in my opinion.
If it tastes above average, it deserves the £5.
But any more than £7 a pizza is a rip off in my opinion
unless it's absolutely massive....like enough to feed 4 or 5 people decently.
Then fine.

So yeah, £5 pizza is expensive but this is a good deal for what you get.
I'm just giving a balanced and logical view.

Although I don't know how much delivery is. If it's free delivery or very cheap,
I'd order a couple every few days/weeks at this price. :p

have people seen the price of mozzarella, pepperoni, peppers, herbs, flour, tomato puree (or ragu?!?! ) etc....to buy those ingredients just to make 1 pizza would cost more than £5. can't believe I'm joining in this debate but let's keep it real
Heat tho compared to RRP!
Sainsbury sell 2 x 14" for £6.80! Or 2 x 10" for £4.80. All day every day! (Well probably from lunch time to an hour before closing and not sure about Sunday lol .) But anyway, freshly cooked whilst you shop or order and collect after work/on lunch! (Buchanan St).

Sell rather large single slices pre cooked for a quid which is good also and plenty toppings! Much better than pizza hut I think! Especially if you only want a slice or two to try dif flavours as it still makes up nearly half a small pizza!

Then you can go back and order the large two as well and still have change from a tenner! :)

P.S.: Asda pizzas are rubbish unless you go at 7pm and get reduced ones then maybe get your monies worth!
Pizaa Go Go here down a £5 any size pizza (15") mon-wed. Great Value.

I used to buy Asda pizzas but lately the cheese has been giving me a bad gut (and i know several other people to with the same issue) but still, £5 is pretty good for a pizza hut.

if i'm honest i'm really not a fussy eater at all but i finally got round to trying the buffet at the southend on sea restaurant and i have to say it wasn't great; pasta very soft and sloppy, and the pizza really didn't taste fresh at all (very stodgy)

still an okayish deal for a quick lunch or if you are with a few kids but not the best to be honest, wouldn't go back

the salad bar was fab though haha :)
do you get cookie dough at every restaurant as I did not see it on website and is it any good?
Has anybody got a pizza hut restaurant receipt from the last 7 days so I can do the survey and get a 2 for 1 voucher?
Thanks
I thought the free cookie dough couldn't be redeemed at the buffet, can anyone confirm this for me? I did vote a few weeks ago
The kids pizza still has a drink and salad and is good value if your kids are small enough (pizzas aren't big!). Buying the kids meal and supplementing it from the buffet helps out with that issue.

Pizza Hut, Any 2 Large Pizzas plus 3 sides for £19.99

52
Seems fair to me, any 2 large pizza's, garlic bread, potato wedges and one other choice of side for £19.99 delivered. Am assuming that this is national, I ordered from the Newport store online.

Don't you just love it - the 50% code gets 60% heat and this one gets 600. ( which is a replica deal that got 44% )
and they say humans are not lemmings.

people try VC11DT and so if its cheaper!
Voucher codes never get the exposure that "deals" get. Sadly most people only look at the deals section and ignore everything else.

I suppose this got hot because people did not have to worry about codes and acceptance, it's national and no hassle.

Although, having just tried your code. It works out cheaper having this deal than the 50% off, if you were to get 2 large pizza's and 3 sides......

does this work for dine in?
I believe it is take away only.

These "offers" are on all year round. Rubbish!! My local Indian takeaway is faster, better tasting and half the price for Pizza!
Pizza hut franchise takeaways are terrible. If you want pizzahut - go to a Pizzahut...
You are right, there are offers on all year round. But some offers are better than others. Take Away Pizza tends to be a rip off, we all know this.

But for those who can't/won't go to the restaurant this is a pretty good deal as far as branded Pizza goes.

I'm not going to pretend that it is the deal of the century or that it's going to change anyone's life, but all in all this will feed a few people and is no hassle.

I don't see whats so difficult about putting a pizza in the oven for 15 mins
In which case farmfoods do 2 large pizzas for £3.. I dont see much difference in the quality either tbh - headscratcher

If you can't tell the difference between a takeaway and frozen pizza then I'd question whether you have taste buds. Or eyes...

Of course taste is personal so you may prefer the frozen ones, or like them equally, but they are blatantly different.

Always someone being unnecessarily argumentative isnt there, well gordon, there isn't any real reason there should be any difference at all - its more a question of the quality of the product

Maybe don't buy the ultimate budget ones and try pizza express - very little difference at all

Its not "unnecessary", takeaway and frozen pizzas are completely different...

I'm sure the quality is the same, but so what? If you want a pizza but get given a plate of spaghetti of the same quality you arent going to be happy.

By that standard, we shouldn't have the internet, because it allows rude opinionated people to spread it around with a big shovel.

If this was a deal for a large pizza every night for a week, you might have something, but an occasional pizza isn't going to do any damage.
