Here are the seperate item codes so you can check each bit online

Oven - SY86PX
Gas Hob - G750TX
Induction Hob - ET6124X

The thing that makes this such a great deal is the electric INDUCTION hob (not ceramic). The cheapest I`ve seen is around £400 alone.

What telephone number did you guys use?

I just rang 0870 197 4300

And gave them the pack code (number 2) and they have no record of it on their systems = no deal.

Ring an indiviual store - the one at Nottingham had it on their system.

BTW, the Nottingham store number is 01159682100. When you ring up, say you want to make an order for a kitchen combination pack and ask to be put through to sales. They will take your details and ask you for the barcode of the package - this is the PackCode that was in the original post.

Cheers

as of 12.55pm i cant find any Hotpoint pack deals on the b&Q SITE. All they have are Indesit and Bosch. And they all cost £600+ :x
#11
Could someone scan in the leaflet if they get a chance.

Any ideas on the model number of the dishwasher so I can try and track it down its specs on the internet?

Just ordered pack 3 for £429 delivered. Comes direct from the manufacturer.

I rang Blackpool store :)

Looks really tempting, am I right in thinking that an induction hob cools immediately after removing the pot/pan and so there's little chance of wandering hands being burnt?
#15
I believe there is an indicator that warns of latent heat, so I guess it doesn't cool instantly

It's only £18 more for the dishwasher :whistling:

Induction hobs only get hot from the heat of the substance you are cooking - they do not generate any heat themselves I think. This is an awesome deal.

Sod it, gonna go for it! My missus will shoot me later, and I'll have to redo the kitchen, but at this price gotta go for it. Kitchen will look pretty funky though!:)
#20
If anyone's having trouble with their nearest store, ring Blackpool store on 01253 798111 and ask for "the showroom". As the units will be coming direct from the manufacturer it shouldn't matter which store you contact.

PS.. estimated delivery will be Nov 2nd for my pack so be prepared to wait a while

What's more efficient energy (and cost) wise? Induction or gas hob?

We have an old gas hob at the moment and we don't want bigger bills!

cheers
#22
Not sure about this deal now... is Hotpoint a decent make?

Reviews for the dishwasher not very favourable (I know it's only £18 on top but the oven and hob are by the same manufacturer):

Review from Which?

Hotpoint BFI620

This full-sized built-in dishwasher from Hotpoint lags a long way behind other built-in models.

The main program's cleaning is only average and leaves a few watermarks.

It's rather noisy. Ease of use and water/energy consumption are average.

It takes 12 place settings. Wash time on the normal program is quick at 1 hour and 29 minutes. The upper basket is adjustable.

The dishwasher can be programmed to run at a set time – for example, if you have Economy 7, you can set it to run using cheaper electricity at night.

Pros: Adjustable upper basket, timer.

Cons: Noisy, mediocre main program, watermarks.

Not got the oven or the hob...

Just came back from my local store and it's in one of their mini-catalogue. Blink and you'd miss it though, don't know why as it's a CRACKING deal.

9/11 delivery for me.

Many many thanks OP.

Just did a bit of googling as had no idea what an Induction hob was, and found this, incase anyone wasn't aware...

"An induction cooker uses induction heating for cooking. A ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic coated pot is placed above an induction coil for the heating process to take place. This type of hob (or, in American English stove top or cooktop) does not work with non-ferromagnetic cookware, such as glass, aluminum, and most stainless steel, nor with ferromagnetic material covered with a conductive layer, such as a copper-bottomed pan"

It looks as though you can only use certain pans with the hob, so if you've ordered one, you need to check your current pans to make sure you can use the hob when it arrives
#26
Induction cookers are considerably more expensive than traditional cookers, but consume half as much electricity as electric-resistance elements and are more efficient in heat transfer, achieving an absolute efficiency of 84% in US Dept of energy tests (compared to a typical 40% for a gas cooker).[citation needed] According to CEG Electric Glass Company, "[Induction cooking] power savings of 40-70% are realistically achievable in comparison to conventional cooktops." CEG Electric Glass Company also states induction cooking has an efficiency rate of 90%, while Electric and Gas have efficiency rates of less than 50%

I can't believe people are finding fault with the products in this deal. Even if they are not the best in their class, THESE PACKS (especially pack 4) ARE ABSOLUTE BILLY BARGAINS! :w00t: Less than the cost of the induction hob to receive that, the oven and dishwasher? Do me a favour, Gov.
#28
Have ordered one and so has my son, its the best deal ive seen for appliances for a while; even if the dishwasher isnt top speck!!
#29
gonna go for pack 4 tommorow, my local b&q are having 10% off this weekend as the store has just been renovated so hopefully I can get 10% off the kitchen and this pack, thanks to the OP!!!

Lol this is what i`ve had to do. Had my kitchen planned out, just managed to squeeze everything in, then I saw this deal. Now I need a link to a cheap RSJ and a builder to fit it lol. Missus will be happy though as I have found room for the dishwasher

Yes. Tried to order pack 2 tonight at my local B&Q, but the system would not accept it. The B&Q man said it was 'live' and could not understand why it could not be ordered. All 3 items were in stock, and could be delivered by the 10th Oct? He said they'd call me tomorrow with an update.

I reckon they have pulled the deal.:x
#33
Anyone had any success with B&Q?

Tried again today and was given the usual "the computer says no" response by the service desk. Seems that the distributor has no stock of the oven, and that prevents any orders being accepted. Very frustrating:x
#34
Same here Warren, I tried x3 stores and was given the same story.

I plan to keep trying daily (using different stores) as the offer is open until late November.

I'll PM you if I get lucky

Don't give up hope just yet.

Got mine also today. All good I hope. I wonder if they are trying to string the supply out seems such a good deal that they may want to advertise it.

First of all thanks to the OP for this wicked deal!

2 questions:

1) Has anyone received their packs yet?

2) If they did (or even if they got an order confirmed), did they do this by calling the Blackpool store or are there any others please?

Fingers crossed that this works out for everyone!!

I got confirmation through but it is not due to be delivered until 2nd November. Just ring any branch and see if you can still order it. Some people have not been able to but I couldn`t say why this is.
