Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of buying any dishwasher at the moment. do make sure you look at it 'in the flesh' first to make sure it's well designed and meets your needs. I recently bought a Kenwood machine from Currys online because it was cheap and foolishly didn't look at one instore. Once I came to use it I found that the detergent dispenser was positioned too low in the door and could be prevented from opening if large items were positioned in front of it, the cutlery basket was positioned to the rear of the bottom basket making it slightly awkward to use and the prongs of the dividers of the upper basket were too short allowing items to fall over.
I've no idea if this Hotpoint machine is better designed but it really is important to have a proper look before buying, hopefully it is a genuine bargain.

Also check on hotpoint beko and indesit models that there isn't an existing recall outstanding on them

I noticed how low the dispensers were in all the Kenwood branded machines when I was looking at the dishwashers in currys on saturday, it did seem rather daft design, both from the likelihood of it being obstructed and its slightly more awkward position when filling up. My first dishwasher had a similar sort of pop up flap dispenser, but it was located level with the upper basket.

We've unfortunately got a Currys' Kenwood microwave, that features a timer that requires more unnecessary button pressing and knob twiddling than a copy of windows 10 to set, and even cuts the microwave emission 15 seconds before the time set is up and has a light so dull that the room has to be blacked out to see anything inside.
