Excellent price. Heat added. :)

Does seem to be the best price around based on this

http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=RFA52&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf

However other retailers are not far off this price so I would say this is a warm deal not a super hot deal. You can also get 3% quidco on this from Argos which is a benefit, you should probably add that to the deal.

Heat added.

Hotpoint's reliability reputation is poor though. Worth the risk?

Looks good, it made me go and double check that I still wanted to buy the Zanussi over at John Lewis, and I've not changed my mind.

This looks better if you want more freezer space and less fridge, but I want the opposite personally.

This was made in 2004, the Zanussi 2010 - this might be a factor in why this also consumes around a third more energy per year.

John Lewis - 2 Yr Warranty, quality aftercare (in my experience)

we've got one of these in silver - had it for about 1.5 years now and never had a problem with it... only thing I will say is that it isn't the quietest fridge, does make a bit of noise from time to time. On the other hand though it's a nice solid fridge freezer and the door seals are excellent.. in fact you have to really tug on the doors to get it open. Ours cost about £50 more than this when we bought it, so not a brilliant saving over the last 1.5 years, but any saving is good... comes with 5 year parts warranty, well ours did anyway.

Personally I'd steer clear of a modern Hotpoint washing machine (with electronic controls) but haven't had a problem with their simpler products and can vouch for fridges being reliable. At just over £200 his is great value for money. Hot from me.
