Was looking for a new microwave in the black friday sale and came across this beauty at only £39.99 delivered (I am fortunately a costco member, i think there is a small surcharge for non costco members?).

Great price for a low/mid range microwave, its the digital version so precise timer for shorter heating times. Only comes in white but cant really complain at this price for a well established white goods brand - Hotpoint! Enjoy!

should I return this and get a budget one with knobs instead for the same price then? is that what the advice is here? I can't see a 'value' microwave being any better lol?

Seems like a really good buy to me, so not sure why it's going cold. The price is very good http://pricespy.co.uk/product.php?p=3293763
It's a cheap microwave, with reasonably good reviews on the sites where it's on sale.
Hot from me.

I think it may be as the Hotpoint name (under the indesit brand) has a very bad name at the moment with the tumble dryers and still quite recent ongoing issue.
For the faulty part fix on these they are taking a long time resolving. it's likely why people don't want to buy or are put off even seemingly reasonable deals or other products under the same name.
