Rated A for energy efficiency

Easily removes 20 of the most common stains

Product Overview

A 10kg drum means clothes get more room to tumble, so they get a better clean - making this washer dryer from Hotpoint perfect for large households. It’s rated A for energy efficiency and has a brilliant Anti-Stain programme that easily shifts stubborn stains at 40°C. The 30 minute Quick Wash cycle is great for last-minute midweek laundry. To take care of delicate knitted jumpers and cardigans, there’s a Certified Woolmark Green programme. It uses a cool temperature, slow spin speed and keeps water and energy waste to a minimal too.

Just click the deal link? Hotpoint Clearance store is online?

Also AO will honour it, just check their price match info online then give them a call.

I did this earlier and can confirm they have matched it, took about 15 mins....saved £255.

If not, just buy it direct from Hotpoint?

Managed to get ao to price match this last night. Took some persuading as they were convinced that the item from the hotpoint clearance website was either a second or returned item. After realising that it was new they gave in and deducted £255. Cheers op for a great deal!

Why buy from AO if direct from the manufacture is the same price?

Mainly for customer service if the machine goes faulty in the future.

Looking at Currys site, it's a condenser dryer. It doesn't have a fluff filter.
The overall energy performance is A+++

It has a 1 year labour guarantee and 10 years parts.

So what happens in year 2-9 when a part fails. Can I use a local independent repairer to inspect and replace a pet that the manufacturer will supply?

Yeah, pretty much 99% of washer dryers are condensers...including this one.

I guess the 10 year parts warranty involves you paying an engineer for their time to diagnose the fault? Someone with some experience may be able to help better than I can here.

I bought a cooker from them recently £435,

The deal seems to be that you basically pay 25% of the cost per fix over the 10 year period.

So the current quote was £100 odd & I assume that it would go up with inflation like the price of the cooker over the 10 year period.

Don't know if the numbers are the same for other products.

Thanks. So potentially their standard price to fix could be 400% of what is the general market rate.
Shame they don't have as much confidence in their build quality as they appear to do in the parts.
