In each episode House is faced with a person exhibiting a number of unusual symptoms, and along with his team of dedicated doctors and nurses, must discover what strange illness is afflicting the patient...before it's too late! Includes all the episodes from the first to fifth series. Such an overrated show, I can't believe I watched 2 seasons of this. I'll some up every episode.

Someone gets ill right at the start.
House comes in and jokes are exchanged between him and other workers.
Gets assigned to look after said ill patient.
Runs patient through different tests.
Gets a diagnosis and treats for it.
Turns out it's the wrong diagnosis and patient ends up getting worst on meds given.
No one knows what's wrong so they brain storm everything what could be wrong.
Patient goes into critical condition and nearly ends up dying, has to be revived.
House sends Chase/black guy to go looking in patients house to see if they can find out what's wrong.
While going through patients house they find the cause of the illness and quickly tell house.
House treats patient with the proper meds.
Patient ends up fine and they/family thank house.
Episode over.
Cycle repeated for next episode.

some people just dont get it....its not a medical show, the patient is always a side story! The genius is in how the charachters relate to each other, the subplots are why people watch this!

If i didn't already have this id not be able to stop myself at this price

oh...........and its not lupus

This release doesn't have any subtitles at all, which seems a bit of a bad omission considering the price of it.

A great deal of TV shows repeat themselves, it's nothing new.

I love the way that Hugh Laurie managed to convince the americans for two years that he was actually american. Good price for an excellent series, amazing acting and I'm a massive fan of his one line put downs and have used a few of them at work myself!! :whistling:

This deal comes up every few weeks and I won't buy it because of the reviews on amazon. But I love House and might buy the complete box set (season 1 - 17) one day....

lol, this show is not about the medical puzzles, its all about House, its all about how convincing Hugh Lawrie is at playing House. the way house interacts, with Wilson, Cutty and the team. Nobody cares what syndrome or ailment the patient has, who cares.

It took me about 1/2 of the first series to really get the show, before then I had a similar opinion and though the show was quite formulaic. Once it clicked though I found myself really loving the show and I think it's got better over time.
