You should enjoy them! Very diffrent of course as they are both around 10 years of age, and they don't have that Grindhouse feel from Overkill or all the swearing, but the gameplay is basically the same!

Ecellent, I'll order it for me and the hubby :D

Seems like a great deal, ordered, let's see what happens with Quidco.

HOTD2 has potentially the best voice acting I have ever heard in any form of entertainment i've come across in my life.

Edit: worth mentioning, I finished this game on my Dreamcast using the Light-Gun accessories back in the day. It was great back then, and I would imagine that it'd be even more fun with the precision of the Wiimote. Not to mention you get the Xbox's HOTD3 as well all for £10.72! This is very, very hot.

Very true!

"Don't come! Don't come!" " I don't want to die" My God..." are just some of my favourites, and all from the first level.

The product page states this too...

"Availability: Usually despatched within 2-4 weeks"

[What does this mean...] links to the text...

"This item should leave us within 2-4 weeks. Please allow a further 3-5 working days for delivery to your chosen address. "

Sorry if this has been covered on HotUKDeals.com many times this week, but does anybody know how long the price promotion discount is in effect for?

i.e. Is the discount offer unavailable from the end of today, for example?

BFN,

fp.

I must admit these games have some serious comedy value, cant beat them. overkill graphics are much better but this is a must for £10! you can get the guns from dealextreme pretty cheap too.

not bad

On it's own, this is a great deal. Just over a tenner for 2 good shooters is a top price. Especially on the Wii where so many good games hold their price well.

However, there's no point comparing this to Overkill, there really is no comparison between the 2. Overkill has better graphics, superb cheesey grindhouse feel, great presentation, excellent soundtrack. Then there's the very funny script, upgradeable weapons, new guns, combo scoring system, 4 player option, mini games, tons of unlockables. Overkill is by FAR the better game, so if it's a choice, there really is no choice, 20 quid difference or not.

I know this is a 2 and 3 thread but seeing as some people are talking Overkill, thought I'd add my bit :)

I got mine from ebay for £16 two weeks ago, when the game seems to be OOS everywhere online, & even on ebay a new & sealed copy is selling around £20, this has been available from TheHut group of websites for arund £14, but the stock has always been 2-4 weeks, which is pretty much a lost cause, and I also found out later it was instore on offer at ASDA for £15, but been OOS for a few weeks at my locals, so bit the bullet & paid extra & got it on ebay.

£10.72 is a great price IF they ever/eventually delivers, but I wouldn't count on it.

Not a bad game but Overkill is so much better and makes this one look very dated.

Also, I traded my copy of this in at Blockbuster the other day for about £14 or £15 - so maybe try it for a week then trade in to upgrade to Overkill :)
