just like the lee evans box set house series 2 is available on pre-order for £9.99
dont forget quidco
Hugh Laurie stars as the brilliant but sarcastic Dr. Gregory House, a maverick physician who is devoid of bedside manner. While his behaviour can border on antisocial, Dr. House thrives on the challenge of solving the medical puzzles that other doctors give up on. Together with his hand-picked team of young medical experts, he'll do whatever it takes in the race against the clock to solve the case.

hmm, so what's the difference between this one at £9.99 and this one at £54.99?

The £9.99 one appears to be pre-order (weird)

The £54.99 one is available now

Deliberate misprice?

With HMV I don't know what to believe anymore

EDIT

Just seen this on MSE posted by veruccasalt

Just been emailed by HMV,
To say thank you for being one of our favourite customers we have decided to you give you the first look at an exclusive set of DVD offers, which can ONLY be accessed through this email!

great stuff, £9.00 with quidco. very cheap for a 24 episode 42min ep show. normally these are £17+

Fantastic, I know that it's all very predictable and that each episode you can time how long it takes until someone performs a lumbar puncture but Hugh Laurie as an irascible Yank diagnostician is great viewing.

Voted Hot! Thanks!

I though tit was just us that noticed that. After watching half a dozen episodes it became apparent that the patient nearly always died 38-41 minutes into the episode :giggle:

Hoopla! Fellow fans...
Thanks for the heads-up about S3, the dials on the Sky+ will be adjusted accordingly.
I'd use a smiley here but I have a severe allergy to them, or could it be Lupus?

It wasn't a mis-price as it was a aspecial offer sent in emails. Altough clicking the pre-order button now says:

There has been a problem processing this request

I'll try again later in case it is a temp problem.
#20
I hope that it's just a temporary problem so that others can get it too.
I'm glad I didn't dillydally yesterday when I saw this.

What other offers did HMV make by email?? I've only seen this one posted.
#21
I just thought that I'd let you know Emma, I tried the link right now and it is showing up but as 'Unavailable'. I think it's safe to say that this offer has now expired unfortunately.

Mine was dispatched today as well. I got an email after 4PM.
A big thanks to the original poster. This was an absolute bargain. I was actually going to download this series but at this price downloading it is not even worth the hassle and besides even I'm not that tight. :giggle:

Snap. Sky + cocked up during series 2 and thought rather than miss one and watch the rest, i'd wait for the dvd, so i avoided the rest of the series. Had a dispatched e-mail so hopefully it will arrive sharpish so i can watch the new lot.
