All Hovis bread mixes,

Not earth shattering but a good deal. I have searched the site and a lot of the deals were posted some time ago.

Good offer (if you have the dough!)

I think I'll use my loaf and rise to the occasion by getting some.

I 'knead' some bread anyway

(ok I'll stop now)

Cheers

Was a better deal when they were 27p ;-)
Much cheaper to put the ingredients together yourself now.

totally agree with you but only if you use the asda or tesco strong white flour, currently selling for 48p for 1.5k bags. works out at about 40p per loaf. yummy

...the white loaf was okay but the granary one ALWAYS sank in my breadmaker!!

I had that problem. I found if I use less water it didn't sink nearly as much and was yummy.
I've still got a load from when it was 27p, but once that runs out 50p isn't so bad.

This is so nice when freshly made and then toasted, I know toasting fresh bread is a no no but hay, what the hell !!

Have you tried half granary and half white? The white mix rises much better than the granary so by combining half a bag of each you get a nice big loaf with bits in- sort of a homemade 'Best of Both' .
