Tesco have a 3 for 2 offer on baking items at the moment with the cheapest item being free.
Picked up 3 packs of the white bread mixes for £1.00 normally 50p each. Granary is also available. Just need to add water.
So 3 loaves of nice fresh bread for £1.00 BARGAIN

My son loves baking....can these be done in an oven or do I need a bread maker.

edit

that sounds rather dumb....what I mean is, how good are these in a conventional oven....has anyone used them?

Just add water and pop them in the oven. You can get your free bread tin with 2 packs of Lurpak butter in Asda as well all for £2.00 or 3 for a fiver. So that's 6 packs of butter and 3bread tins.

Can be cooked in either breadmaker or oven.
Personally I found the granary one quite doughy, have not tried the other two.

No such offer in Halifax

Great offer - usually stock up when it's 2 for £1 so this is even better. Just baked one this morning after running out of white and not being bothered to go out in the rain for a loaf!
